They have no attachment to facts unless they can manipulate them to fit their views.

That is the risk with Juries... That is why a lot of people take pleas. Even when they did not commit the crime.

Happens all the time. In fact, during voir dire, attorneys are looking for people that will have particular biases

David Pecker, the chief executive of the company that publishes the National Enquirer, was granted immunity by federal prosecutors for providing information about Michael Cohen and Donald Trump in the criminal investigation into hush-money payments for two women during the 2016 presidential campaign, according to people familiar with the matter.

In exchange for immunity, Mr. Pecker, CEO of American Media, Inc., has met with prosecutors and shared details about payments Mr. Cohen arranged in an effort to silence two women who alleged sexual encounters with Mr. Trump, including Mr. Trump’s knowledge of the deals, some of the people said. Prosecutors have indicated that Mr. Pecker won’t be criminally charged for his participation in the deals, the people said.
Mr. Pecker has previously said he is a longtime friend of Messrs. Trump and Cohen.

Prosecutors have indicated Dylan Howard, chief content officer of American Media, also won’t be criminally charged in the Cohen investigation, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Mr. Pecker’s assistance appeared to have informed the charging documents made public on Tuesday as part of Mr. Cohen’s guilty plea to eight criminal charges, including campaign-finance violations tied to the payments.

During his guilty-plea hearing, Mr. Cohen, Mr. Trump’s former personal lawyer, said that at Mr. Trump’s direction, he broke federal laws on campaign contributions by coordinating payments to the two women for the purpose of suppressing negative information about Mr. Trump and influencing the 2016 election.

American Media executives were involved in both hush-money deals that formed the basis of Mr. Cohen’s guilty plea to campaign-finance violations, prosecutors said. One was a $130,000 payment to Stephanie Clifford—a former porn actress who goes professionally by Stormy Daniels—to keep her from publicly discussing an alleged affair with Mr. Trump.

The second was a $150,000 payment made to former Playboy model Karen McDougal for her exclusive story of an alleged extramarital affair with Mr. Trump, a story that was purchased by American Media in August 2016 at Mr. Cohen’s urging, and then never published.

The immunity status of Mr. Pecker was first reported by Vanity Fair. The Wall Street Journal published Wednesday that Mr. Pecker provided information to prosecutors.

The part about genocide of white farmers shows that Trump does indeed get at least some of his news from Stormfront or something similar. The first part about land expropriation is actually true, it's complex and this article gives a good description of what is going on.

Short version: Whites have been able to hold their land fee simple while blacks were forced to live on reservations where black collaborators assigned the reservation dwellers temporary land use rights. The situation got worse when mineral wealth was discovered and many black were forced off the reservations and proletarianized. This created a vast reserve army of labor which further increased white wealth in South Africa and eventually lead to most black South Africans living in the Country's major cities. Now the ruling Party in South Africa is looking to eminent domain the land and compensate the white farmers but for less than the market price.

My take: South Africa has massive and racialized wealth and income inequality but seizing land is not a great way to address it. It would be a better idea to raise taxes on wealthy South Africans and allow the poor and black people in the big cities to accumulate capital of their own and over time the wealth gap gets evened out.

If Donald Trump gets lead out in handcuffs, what a day will be. Until that time, the most gratifying thing about this Russia thing is hearing Mark Levin, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity eat al. criticizing law enforcement, prosecutors, the CIA and every other institution that they hitherto had praised when all they did was terrorize brown people.

Now that Trump and his gang are caught up and are getting roughly the same treatment as a small time crew of black drug dealers insnared in a Federal case, the AM radio white supremacists have become NWA crossed with Publiv Enemy, as least as far it concerns the Donald.

Just a couple years ago, when police officers were killing unarmed black men left and right (they haven't slowed down too much), Sean and the gang were bending over backwards to defend cops and telling us they are doing their jobs as best they can and they are not biased or bad people. Now they're telling us FBI, CIA, high ranking mitary officials etc. are all corrupt and biased . I love it.
