They doing our mans Paulie real dirty......

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/do...urt-wheelchair-learns-sentencing-date-n921826

Former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort was rolled into a Virginia federal court Friday in a wheelchair, wearing a green prison uniform instead of his signature tailored suit.

The judge scheduled Manafort to be sentenced Feb. 8 for eight counts of tax evasion and bank fraud and dismissed the remaining charges against him.

Manafort, appearing visibly grayer, was pushed into court in a wheelchair, missing his right shoe.

900k potential voters :smh:

Stealing an election, out in the open. And once the theft is complete, people will forget about it and ******** narratives like this get to be peddled:

-Trump wins Georgia in 2020: "Democrats don't know who to appeal to Southerner votes"

-Dems should not run black progressive women, they tried in 2018 in Georgia, looked what happened.

Voter suppression is vile, undemocratic and racist. But I also hate how in furtively changes the narratives in politics. **** like this keeps the Dems from moving left in many ways because it punishes Progressive candidates the worst. How can a politician appeal to black, poor, and young voters by going hard on civil rights and anti-poverty measures when they know the base they are building will be blocked from voting?

It is funny how conservatives have made bureaucracy a dirty word despite the fact that most people with middle or upper middle class incomes actually are bureaucrats. Every office job, including private sector work, is a position within a bureaucracy. Conservatives, who are among the minority of the country who is actually middle class, those who own a home and have a savings account and a good retirement portfolio, fancy themselves as puritan shop keepers or sturdy patrician farmers but most of them are doughy VPs of logistics for some petrochemical company. They are bureaucrats.

So it is only appropriate that they use the most bureaucratic means of taking away non white voters' rights. These vote stealers are the characterture of the bureaucrats who staff the government agencies they do not like, they are venal and pedantic in the way that they imagine the civil servants at the EPA or their State's Medicaid office workers.

This is, in a practical sense, no different than the Ku Klux Klan on horse back blocking the polling places but there is that extra twist that today's typical white supremacists would probably get saddle sores if rode a horse so he uses paper pusher tricks to deprive hundreds of thousands of people of their civil rights.

Absolutely, this should be the THE story of the 2018 election.

And it never gets mentioned when a Democrat loses.

Obviously, conservatives didn't consider any of this to be voter suppression in the first place. It gets worse though, because outlets who ought to know better, fail to even mention it as a factor.

Leftists, Liberals, Centrists, black focused publications, Latino focused publication far too often gloss over the tangible effect of voter suppression and blame the candidiate for not focusing enough on issue x, y or z.

Outlets like Fivethirtyeight and other wonky wannabes claim that they are omniscient and non biased, gloss over voter suppression and want to talk about how the GOP wins more seats in years where an NFC team won the Superbowl or the differences in voting patterns among white women who go to Panera bread 2-3 times per week versus 4-5 times per week.

Finally, it is all rounded out by a slew of downtown professional class libs blaming "lazy" and "uneducated" nonvoters for the last election defeat.

This latest round of purges is so brazen and such an attack on our professed values that it should be covered with the same intensity as 9/11 or at least that of a disappeared Malaysian airliner.

The country is ran by the “let us worry about that” mentality. People would rather not be inconvenienced in the slightest bit coupled with people fighting to conserve their version of America makes what we have now.

Also, this is why I shut down conservatives around me complaining about 'Free Speech".

If you think Milo, Charles Murray, or Ben Shapiro being banned from speaking at one or two of out of the dozens of universities they will speak at during the year a bigger threat to free speech than black people being blocked from voting, you don't care about free speech. You only care about your perverse ideology being validated.

A damn Democrat has to win by 4-8 points just to get to 50% plus 1 of the vote share. How the **** is that democracy?
