That's one state and he lost the other one that same night that had more delegates so it really amounted to a wash at best.

Like I said he has to do that AND win every state going forward.

I don't see why people want Bernie to drop out. The odds of him becoming the nominee are very slim but his campaign now is more about spreading the word and his ideas than winning in my opinion. Bernie staying in the race is a good thing. He may not win but he's continuing to spread a positive message that will hopefully resonate with voters for years to come. I'm sure he'll tell his voters to vote for Hillary in order to stop Trump when Hillary becomes the nominee.

I don't think the people who want him out support his ideas or want them to spread. Some people like things the way they are.

Thats not a reflection of my ideas. Its just what i gather from some of the responses I've heard.

I get annoyed whenever someone says, "I don't know why [candidate's name] is still in the race." People are following the rules and, if they have money to continue their campaign, why not?

Do people expect the 49ers to quit the NFL season after they're eliminated from the playoffs?

It's always just seemed like a condescending statement, telling someone who's losing to stop and questioning what their logic for trying is.

Change the convention rules if you don't like it.

Unfortunately yes. These Bernie Sanders supporters are something else. Both him and them represent everything that's wrong with the Democrats right now....which is a lot of wishful thinking, no clear direction, and more importantly no real WINNING strategy. Just happy to be in the race and be seen type of dudes. Can't wait till I check all these individuals once Bernie Sanders drops out. Which he will do (drop out) and which I will do (check folks).

god you're so stubborn...dont you Understand that da super delegates will essentially overturn da will of da voters if that happens, and Bernie is ahead of Hillary in pledged delegates? It'll disenfranchise da Democratic electorate, and if that happens either people will sit home or vote for Trump.

But while host Andrea Mitchell did begin with acknowledgement of the senator’s wins, she was quick to throw cold water on any progress the distant underdog candidate might have made.
For one, Mitchell noted that Sanders came out of West Virginia with the same number of delegates as Hillary Clinton, once you consider the superdelegates, meaning the state did nothing to help him catch up. combined with proportional delegate apportionment Hilary's lead is insurmountable.
