thank god for photojournalism. Kudos to whoever Trump’s photographer is for because if there’s one thing you can’t change/stage, it’s the metadata of photos. He/she might’ve “educated” Trump’s camp but they ain’t got time to listen about the technicalities

Still and FOREVER, Pete Souza >>>>>>>>>
Either I'm missing the sarcasm or I'm misinformed, but there are ways to scrub the metadata on a photo. But maybe for photos submitted for journalism, you have to include the metadata?

For sure he/they didn’t listen. He doesn’t pay attention to intel briefings which are multiple times more important, what makes you think he’d listen to a photographer? Lol

Dude watches tv and tweets all day.

HELL Yes, on the journalism part.

Technically, you can set cameras do exclude metadata in the settings/menu of a camera during shoots, or during post-processing. It’s like a dateline on articles but for photos. That’s why I don’t **** with my **** whenever I’m submitting images.

However, wire agencies/newspaper outlets require that **** 100% regardless of circumstances due to common practice, ethics (which is LIKELY non-existent with Trump and company), and of course, accuracy.

So wait to be clear you DO include the metadata? You mentioned it with media but is that photographer common practice in general?
