I'm keeping my expectations low.

For each Republican incumbent senator who loses, it will be a celebration.

If Trump goes too, it'll be an even bigger celebration.

But this is only step one. Even if Biden wins and Dems take the Senate, that is just for two years. There's a lot more that needs to be done. A landslide on Tuesday could help force the Republican party to realign a bit, so every vote counts, even if you're in a state that is clearly red or blue.

independent boundary commissions.. and statehood for Washington and Puerto Rico also



and you wait to hear whatever BS republicans will have to say to fight any of those issues.. and force the courts to have to support the BS where it’s blatantly clear the politics.. which justifies you doing the right thing of packing the courts

Had to take the first half of election week off. Can't see myself on a Zoom calls/meetings with a bunch of folks who can't comprehend the anxiety associated with being Black during this particular election season. I feel for those who have to go in to a workplace the day of and day after.

I remember being at work a couple days after the election in 2016 and tearing up when I was talking to a coworker, explaining to him how terrible this was going to be.
