They'll wholeheartedly embrace Trumpism and its tactics and we're guaranteed to see smarter and more sophisticated candidates running the same gameplan in the future which will be all the more dangerous given all that we've learned about the American electorate these last few years.

Thats why Dems need to be on their A game and never rest on any laurels or entwrtain idealistic notions regarding winning elections due to demographic swings.

Gonna be just as hard winning consistently moving forward as it has been these last 10 years. Just gotta put up a vision of the country with policies that coincides with all the very real anxieties and concerns of most folks more than anything and to stop playing nice with a hand tied behind their back against a party that only cares about power and stops at nothing to achieve those aims.

I second this. Trump is a terrible tactician. For better or worse, he could get more of his initiatives considered if he wasn't so arrogant.

Meanwhile, there will be other politicians that fall in line with his philosophy and they'll be more tactful in their delivery and implementation all while being more deceptive and less abrasive.

I’m not getting too excited until it’s official and Biden wins. But if the GOP turns on Trump and tries to distance themselves from him, the aftermath is going to get fun.

The GOP has always been nothing but a means to an end for Trump. He’s no longtime party loyalist. If he’s no longer President and the GOP can’t do anything for him, he doesn’t give a **** about them. If they distance themselves from him, he’s going scorched earth and his presence is going to loom over the GOP while he’s attacking them for not doing enough to help him win.
