I said that a policy that applies to policy obviously wouldn't apply to the military because they are not the same.

and as an example I claimed that police do not regularly employ drone strikes or carpet bombing as a policing tactic and their primary function is not killing people.

someone then found a time that the police used a bomb, to claim that I don't know I guess police regularly bomb people like the military.

No I said the police and military aren't that different and you said they're not EXACTLY the same because of carpet bombings and drone strikes.

But no one said they're exactly the same. They're similar in how they're administered here and abroad, tactically, strategically, employ a lot of the same people, technology and so one. For some reason that wasn't enough for you to grasp the comparison and how the two lines could get blurred.
