But my point is, she gave you more for months. She gave you the fire.I didn't say "she did nothing." I said "we need more."
yes, in my belief we need elected officials who claim to be on our side to make it constantly clear what our will consists of.
I don't want to hear "significant," I want to hear "inadequate."
I don't want a victory lap, I want an apology, expressions of sincere regret that more could not be done.
I don't wanna hear "both teams played hard."
I want to hear people openly condemn bad faith actors in every word on the subject.
I want FIRE.
now, it doesn't always matter what I want I guess, and hell they have my vote anyway.
...but who am I supposed to convert with "hey, we actually did pretty good overall!"
In her press conference, she said the bill is not enough and more needs to be needed. She called it a first step. She especially criticized the GOP demanding that anything specific to minority communities hurt by the pandemic get gutted too.
Yet, your criticism of her is based on a 17 clip on Twitter, from a speech that was over 20 mins? A speech where she calls of all the ways this bill should have done more. Again saying this bill is not enough in many ways. Calling out the GOP's ******* on the liability shield, the FED language nad generally holding it up.
No one is asking to say they did well overall, and that's that. Not even Pelosi is doing that. You're just using a 17-second clip to act like she is.
