I have already accepted defeat in those GA Senate races. I donated a **** ton of money to the Dems, and I am still pessimistic. Setting expectations low as ****.

Georgia is fundamentally still a red state

But I'm hoping like crazy I'm wrong.

Never in my life did I think I’d be donating thousands of dollars to a state I don’t live in but here we are. If they don’t win I’ll be calling my bank to reverse the charges.

My brain is hurting thinking about all the twists in logic it took to arrive at this conclusion. i usually respect Sonnies Johnson's conservative position but this is bad faith mischaracterization if i ever saw one. for this to make sense youd have to assume that progressives dont want to remove the white supremacy and oppression from government which clearly isnt the case.

Your first mistake was respecting a black conservative.

I disagree. conservatism in and of itself has a place in governance. how its politicized is what separates a black conservative and a biscuit eater. sonnie's not a biscuit eater but she is wrong
Sure I agree in general, but American conservativism comes with way deeper chasms which rarely holds a place for a genuine, non-selfish biscuit free black American.

i can agree with that. especially if you attach your conservatism to republicanism

in sonnies case she believes progressivism is the actual devil. shes also a self identified black capitolist which presents its own issues

The more I got into politics and econ the more I lose respect for right wing conservatism as an ideology. Both on economics and social issues.

I think it is generally destructive and should be challenged wherever it is found.

Being cautious, considerate, and pragmatic can be accomplished without a strong conservative movement.

Sure there are black conservatives that are not the reactionary fools that people like Candace Owens are, but I think they generally make bad arguments too.

The only conservativism that is not dangerous, economically and socially, is mostly found within the left wing coalition.

the conservative "movement" is republicanism. eff them. as an ideology i think it more or less only has its place in local levels depending on the needs of the specific community. the further away you get from an individual as far as government is concerned the less effective it is and the less it makes sense. in my opinion atleast. conservatism also doesnt have the answer to existing systemic problems either

if Georgia wins these seats. Give me a Falcons super bowl, a Braves World Series, Georgia national champions up and a Hawks NBA title within the next few years. Hell also do a remake for the welcome to Atlanta video some 20 years later while we’re at it for good measure.
