Congrats to Joey on winning the election for the 5th straight time this month

tenor (11).gif

He has to win it one more time in January when Congress are certifying the EC vote, and the GOP plan to try to throw out the Electoral College results.

January 5th is a Last Dance

Another objection just to look stupid and told it can't be entertained? lol... dummies all in the republican party

I hope black americans are smart enough to fight the real enemies ....if there is an invasion.

Pence thought being a loyal servant to Trump would help springboard him to a Presidential run one day.

But look at him now. Broken, used, and his political career only having two weeks left.

Trump pimped his *** for over four years, and he gets nothing in return besides humiliation.

How does that old Nigerian proverb that osh kosh bosh osh kosh bosh used to tell us about go again?

loser admits to losing and calls for orderly transition
anyone believe he put that statement out tho?
it was a prepared statement that released to media just after the vote confirmation

It feels like there been a change in the engagement and involvement of black people in politics. It feels like there’s been more success from entertainment in their efforts to reach the black youth as well. Between this and the Republican Party making themselves look like complete idiots for the past 4 years, this could ruin them for many years to come. They’re going to need to rebrand their parties philosophies.

If America had a representative electoral system, the GOP would be ******. Like Trump would be such a massive problem that the sustainability of the party might be in danger

But America's electoral system is horrible. It gives the GOP tons of unearned power. So they will be just fine.

Unless Trump really tries to burn it all down. But I doubt he will have the drive and focus to follow through with that.

the problem for the GOP, even though I agree trump might not have the drive or focus

but he might have the desperation.. and his ego needs to be filled

so if he cuts off just enough whether because they support him or because they finally see things for what they are either through finally feeling shame or just inability to no longer be oblivious.. those wounds could be serious

but gotta see how organized democrats are and to what degree they take advantage of the next 2 years.. and also organize and get people motivated in 2 years cause clock is going while GOP is in this mess

Where Trump ***** *** been?
In his own public words:
Inciting the mob to march on the capital and "be strong" and "cheer" Congress into making "the right decision"
Fanning the flames on Twitter (now deleted) and attacking Mike Pence for not overturning the election (which Pence obviously legally can't do) while the violent seditious riot was ongoing

According to an official statement from the Defense Dept:
The Defense Secretary statement said discussions about authorization involved only Pence, Pelosi, McConnell and Inhofe, there was zero mention of Trump. Pence doesn't have the legal authority to make that authorization so presumably the Defense Secretary did it.

According to multiple reports confirming eachother (mostly before the DoD statement):
Trump repeatedly refused the pleas of WH officials to authorize the national guard and appeared almost happy about the riots delaying the certification vote. "WH officials" then "intervened" and got the authorization somehow, which lines up with the statement the Defense Dept put out later.

According to CNN, CBS and ABC:
Multiple cabinet officials are engaged in discussions about invoking the 25th amendment. No names or reporting on whether Pence is involved in those talks, though he was reportedly furious at Trump for what took place.

Give it a few years
The GOP will be relegated to a marginal party like they have been in CA.
You will have centrists and progressives in the future with the weirdos (republicans) winning some congressional seats but not holding a majority.

A California political consultant described the (california republican) party post-election as a “gathering of weirdos, cranks, losers,” and “nut jobs.”
