***Official Political Discussion Thread***

You know what's funny about these Republicans crying about "free speech" when corporate America / book publishers refuse to allow them access or publish their books?

The 1st Amendment refers to Congress, not corporate America.

You'd think a group of people that are so fixated on "free markets" and "capitalism" would have a clue...but as usual what they know and don't know is strictly contingent upon what is beneficial for them.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Last I checked, the legislative branch of the United States government isn't called Facebook or Twitter.

I really hope these morons try to sue on the grounds of 1st Amendment. Lawyers would take all their cash just to have the lawsuits thrown out by a judge within 2 minutes.

how long until someone like Aaron Sorkin writes/produces the Trump story for HBO or Ryan Murphy for FX?

There's enough for 5 seasons, easily.
