There's no question that the mob contained a substantial number of business owners and executives, and attendance required some degree of privilege. (Although many of those in attendance drove in, rather than flew, gig economy work is not a strictly 9 to 5 affair, some of those business owners were chartering buses, etc.) I just bristle against the characterization that "the far right is primarily a cadre of well-off professionals." That's just simply incorrect.
In a way, the idea we're objecting to is the same: that lynch mobs aren't just some marionette legion of poor people actuated by the shadowy forces of Capital.

They're also clearly unconcerned with companies using anti-competitive tactics in effort to so dominate a space that the use of their platforms can be considered synonymous with individual speech rights.

An Alabama man allegedly parked a pickup truck packed with 11 homemade bombs, an assault rifle and a handgun two blocks from the US Capitol building on Wednesday for hours before authorities ever noticed, according to federal prosecutors.
