Shine's issue was he battled mid tier people all of 2020. In contrast to Chilla where he battle Top tiers. Also that wire rebuttal at the start of Chilla's got to Shine. You could tell it threw him off.

I actually think Ace is fire, but hasn't always performed to his potential. The slips, being physical in battles, choking, the Fonz situation, etc. understandably make him look bad. I think he'll do good, but JJDD has too much in his favor. Although I hope it doesn't happen, I wouldn't be surprised if Ace tries to start a fight if he's losing clearly or John John embellishes that gun angle.
