After looking at the Def Jam roster, as far as rap goes, the only person who even got a modicum of backing was Ludacris (as far as actually releasing something in 2015). Def Jam sucks, and it's embarrassing for what used to be a premier label. Guess they're just gonna ride Justin Bieber til the wheels fall off.

Just saw Ross did 65k.... Is it safe to say he is even "less relevant" the Jeezy now or no? Jeezy basically did over 100k with the same turnaround time.


Ive been seeing ppl say this Ross album is his best to date... dont see it all. Beginning of the album is flames tho.

Totally overlooked Big Sean being on Def Jam and coming out this year he definitely got a good amount of backing. But that could have something to do with Kanye's affiliation more than actual backing

The people that actually buy albums in 2015 ain't listening to no damn Ross. Future is white peoples favorite drug dealing rapper right now. Only rappers selling records is Cole for real.
