SACRAMENTO, CA - The Taylor ICON group, who had been tasked to perform an arena feasibility study, is now holding off on that study until the Maloof Brothers make a decision on whether they are keeping the team in town or moving to Anaheim.

Taylor ICON spokesman Adam Mendelsohn said because the group is doing the study pro-bono, they cannot dedicate time and resources to a study that involves the Kings and a study that does not.

"Creating what is called a feasibility analysis, or a financing plan, is a lot of work and takes a lot of time," Mendelsohn said. "and the Taylor ICON is working pro-bono, they're not being paid everyone is doing it essentially as a volunteer. So, creating two plans isn't realistic."

The Maloofs are scheduled to meet with the NBA during a Board of Governors meeting April 14 and 15 about filing a relocation request to move the team to Anaheim.

"It doesn't make a lot of sense to produce a plan until the Kings make a decision, because they're decision is going to play a huge role in what the financial plan looks like." Mendelsohn said.

Mendelsohn said that Taylor ICON was originally scheduled to present their findings to the Sacramento City Council in May, but that has been postponed with no new date set to present.

The only way the Maloofs would want to stay in Sac is if the city built a new sports and entertainment complex............ that in itself has been a miracle-level challenge from the get-go........ so long story short, its been over since the Maloofs started to look for a new home. If they don't move this year, it will only be a matter of time till they do. But that also give the city of Sacramento more time to maybe pull of this miracle. Don't stop believing yall.

Man, we actually need two miracles at this point. We need the Anaheim deal to fall through, then we need the Taylor group to come up with a plan that will be approved by Sacramento.

The team is as good as gone
