looks we'll be transitioning to a 4-3. lynch didn't explicitly say it, but i feel like he kind of alluded to it with his description of their defensive vision.

they'll have to figure out who bumps out to the edge between defo and AA, and they'll probably slide them back inside in sub packages.

Foster is the Ronnie Lott of LB's. If the Niners are looking to go defense with their pick, I want them to get Foster because Brooks is no longer gonna get it done and I doubt Eli Harold will either. And we all know how mediocre Wilhoite has been. Bowman needs help and he needs someone next to him who has speed and power. Lynch is solid as a pass rush specialist, imagine what more with Foster on the unit stuffing the run.

Niners can then utilize what they have for free agents on a CB, FB, WR, or QB.

to me, a pure thrower is someone who naturally has a feel for toggling between velocity and touch on his throws. it comes easy and effortless. we all know mahomes has the fast ball, but he's also got the change up in the bag. it comes out so smooth and easy. mahomes was multi-sport star in high school playing at high level as both a quarterback and a pitcher. dude was a top ranked prospect as a pitcher.

Will Mahomes still be available in the second round though?

If so, Niners can go Corey Davis then Mahomes or Foster then Mahomes. I'd be ecstatic with either scenario.

most likely not. i don't see him getting past the texans at 25. i could even see arizona saying, "**** it, we need a qb", and grabbing him at 13.

his stock will sky rocket after the combine. once teams see him in person and meet with him, things will really heat up.

funny how this whole process unfolds

in november of 2015, i posted about how wentz would be a steal in the third round...

then, around this time last year, his stock was starting to heat up just like mahomes is right now. some people were even "going out on a limb" to rank him the top QB in the draft...

after the 2016 combine, everything had boiled over. it was a wrap. if you didn't have one of the top 2 picks, you had no shot at wentz.
