After the performance in the Cards game I don’t think Trey was starting this week, even without the sprained knee, if Jim was good to go imo.

Definitely agree with not rushing Trey back but damn, one last shot here for Jimmy and we really need him to step up. Its still so early in the season but at the same time we need to string together some dubs, these 3 L’s the past few weeks have been avoidable

again its early days and still only a game out of a wild card spot, its not all doom and gloom/questioning if so and so is on the hot seat. Need to chill on that tbh

All jimmy need to do is grow some gawt damn man balls and we good. He hasnt been right in the head since pornstar. Take a ****n hit, stop the barbie doll ****. We need kittle tds asap when he returns and our run game should be good once peeps come back. We might salvage it guys. Because our D is good. Shanny on hot seat. Change and open the fackn playbook

Gotta establish the running game first. I think Mitchell just may be the guy.

Then we can establish Kittle in the pass game. This in turn makes Deebo, Aiyuk, and Sherfield that much more dangerous in the passing game.

McG gotta go tho

This toss ended up as a 2-yard gain. The blueprint is out on how to stifle our run game. It's not entirely on him because this OLine just doesn't move anyone, but Shanahan has to adjust to the 6-man defensive front.

All-22 from last week

Skip to 3:08 to see how awful McGlinchey is. He's out in open space and only has one defender to engage, which he does. Yet, he is unable to pancake him or even displace him. The result? He nearly gets seriously injured.

I honestly believe there is rif between Lynch and Shanahan. Kyle needs to start opening the playbook and go back to having either Jimmy or Trey making those quick throws to force the defense to adjust. In addition, we all can agree the O-line can improve their play to open up running lanes and protect the QB. And yes, Kyle has to improve the playcalling. Even if they lose, the offense isn't what it was when Kyle first got here.

Niners really need to invest in their O-line and Secondary come this offseason.

I think the Niners still have a chance for the postseason. The Rams don't scare me, because we have a good record against them. Arizona IMO is on a streak and will cool down. The division is not lost. Regardless if it's Jimmy or Trey at QB, I'm going to be optimistic and believe they'll win this coming Sunday and get on a roll.

If they lose, then discussions needs to be had.

every game is tough every week buffalo bills just learned that the hard way last night

but 9ers gotta capitalize if they want a hope of being wild card. if cardinals stay hot 9ers not winning division.

11-6 gets you a wild card berth. Dal, GB, TB, AZ will all win 13 plus. The Rams will win 12. That leaves SF, Min, Car, NO, Sea, and Chi to battle it out for the last spot.

Which means we have to go 9-3 the rest of the way. Doable? Certainly. But I'm not expecting it since we continue to see mediocre QB play from #10

Starting this year 7 teams make the playoffs per per conference, not 6. A wild card is defintely doable, and so is the division since the season is still early however a lot of things have to take place in order for that to happen obviously.

Staying healthy being #1 and I don’t have much faith in that. I just can’t see us making a run without Mostert, Kinlaw a secondary hanging on by a thread, Kittle in and out, one consistent receiver and McGlinchey being useless. Our Dline gives us a chance, but I don’t know how much longer we can keep leaning on them.

FWIW, we played AZ better than both LAR and CLE with a rook.I believe we’re in good hands, the kid just needs to learn to protect himself and work out the kinks in his mechanics and progressions.

Offensively we gotta take care of business. Our D doing everything they can. Looking at the bigger picture we have only lost by what? A td each game. Oline and qb is main thing we need glue.. not concerned about running game bcz shanny knows how to handle it..

Only reason Defense does look good currently is Nick Bosa , Armstead, Dj Jones and Dee Ford. In pass rushing situations those 4 have been incredible.
Scary part is if one of them goes down for lengthy period of time this defense train may come off the rails. :smh::smh::smh:

9-3 rest of the way is not happening. @ best 7-5. Need some help from the other teams to take some more Ls

We literally could of had Buckner, Bosa, Warner for the long haul

Instead they said Armstead and Kinlaw fine....

Dang i hate this front office. Shanahan too is starting to piss me off. Buckner should still be here, replacing him with Kiaw smh.
