Actually, you could argue it's the Broncos' defense that may have taken a step back (with all the free agent defections they had). Although I still think the DEN defense is still gonna be pretty damn good.

Offense seems mostly intact aside from QB. And if we're being honest, are the Broncos really gonna lose anything w/ not having washed Peyton out there (aside from experience and leadership, which is valid to an extent)? But my point is, the Broncos rode that defense to a SB last year in spite of their meh offense.

I like the Broncos too. May be a pretty ugly game to watch but it's gonna be old school football.

I think Carolina wins. They have a point to prove. Just tough to trust Denver w/ their QB situation.

Am I the only one that hates the all white uniforms?

I hate the white pants.
Wholeheartedly agree.  Hate the all white uniforms and hate the white pants.  The ONLY reason people like them is because their brain connects the all white uniforms to a Superbowl year.  The jersey is awesome.  The pants ruin it.

I think that Denver defense is just too good still.

Also on the Jerseys, if I were to choose it would be all white. Thats our of all black, gold, red, white, etc.

#49ers DC Jim O'Neil on preseason monster Marcus Rush: "“He’s a guy that I’ll be shocked if he’s on the practice squad all year.”

Miller was asked to leave a historic restaurant, Tommy’s Joynt, a manager told the San Francisco Chronicle. Restaurant manager Eddie Martin said Miller took a seat near the front of the restaurant, stared at the buffet for about 20 minutes, then approached guests and started arguing over a sandwich.

There were no injuries, and Miller was escorted out. His alleged assault occurred hours later.

“I believe he wanted their sandwiches,” said Martin, who surmised that Miller got all hot and bothered by the restaurant’s renowned brisket sandwich. “The guests were great. They were very calm and amused by the situation.”

Off topic but, anyone got some good idp rankings cheat sheet? Drafting for my brother tonight that's out of the country, but it's an idp league and I haven't done any research lol.

How is there bust chatter when dude hasn't played one regular season second.

I like it though, **** the Rams and everything they stand for.

Red compared him to Peyton Manning innterms of style. My coworker is saying Peyton Manning also, but because he thinks Goff is not a big game player.

Hard to know if Goff a "bust" yet because he hasn't played yet, but I do know that the Rams were expecting him to be the new face of the new LA franchise and to be their starter week one when they ransomed off all of those picks to get him.

So he is a "bust" in the traditional sense? No. Not yet anyway.

Was he a "bust" for the Rams who were hoping to spend their picks to buy a week 1 starting QB1? Yeah, looks like it.

Thoughts on all this Goff "bust" chatter?

Ridiculous. Dude hasn't played one snap in a game that matters. How the hell are people calling him a bust? lol

I like to give young players 3 years before I make a call on them. Fisher should be gone by then, which will only help Goff.

Hopefully, harbaugh is not his replacement. :x

If he busts, good for us. I never think giving up those huge ransoms to move up for one player is a good idea.

All the coaches job now is to just maintain the course while while the ship is being built. I see no urgency in them making a serious run. Drafting a QB number 1 buys you three years as a coach.

Jeff Fisher is one of the most overhyped coaches ever. He's been getting a pass for way too long now. Who else can go 7-9 year after year and continue to be regarded as a great coach?

dude is an elite mediocre coach.

he's one of the main reasons i wanted to avoid all retreads. there's a handful of coaches in this league that make a living on elevating their program to perpetual mediocrity.

i think harbaugh will be back in the nfl in a couple years, and i predict he'll likely be in LA or oakland.
