Some of those free agents pickups are awful.

Just because The niners have loads of cap they shouldnt give players like that a contract.

Before any speculation i hope the niners let brown and garnett try and fit in. I dont think the niners are going to give up on those two young players that quickly.

i hope our next GM is selective and prudent with his free agency moves. personally, i would stay away from all the sexy FAs.

Agreed. Like a few of us been saying dating back to last off-season, throwing out cash just to do it is stupid.

Also think it's way too premature to just cut bait on Garnett and Trent like that. Won't get anywhere close to value in return in a trade.

moves I would love to see happen:

sign ILB zach brown, FB kyle juszczyk, OT ricky wagner, and trade for C jason kelce

zach brown will probably be the priciest signing followed by wagner. eagles might unload kelce for nothing. none of these moves handicap us moving into the future.

for some reason i keep thinking ahmad brooks is a free agent. nm with addison. i'd rather keep ahmad, draft a rookie, and continue developing lynch/eli/rookie.
