Defo is the best interior DL in the game right now. Come at me.

How many 6'7 300 lbs dudes can line up over a center and draw a triple team?

NFL 2017 First Quarter All-Pro Team

RT – Trent Brown, San Francisco 49ers
PFF Grade: 85.7

Elite Stat: Brown has allowed just 5 total pressures – tied for sixth-fewest among tackles with at least 100 pass block snaps.

One of the surprises of the young season is the play of 49ers RT Trent Brown. Brown, at 6 foot 8 and 360 pounds has been a revelation as a pass blocker, allowing just five total pressures so far this season, and doing so against some high-level defenses. Brown shut out both the Panthers and Seahawks, and was impressive against the Rams and Cardinals.

Second Team RT – Lane Johnson, Philadelphia Eagles (85.4)

Honorable Mention – Demar Dotson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (86.0)

Defensive interior – DeForest Buckner, San Francisco 49ers
PFF Grade: 93.2

Elite Stat: No interior defender has more pressures than Buckner through four games, as his 23 total pressures are 3 more than the next player.

DeForest Buckner certainly benefits from some of the offensive lines he has gone up against, but a player can only beat what is in front of them, and Buckner has certainly done that. He only has one sack, but Buckner has 23 total pressures, a batted pass and eleven defensive stops to his name across the first four weeks of the season.

Second Team DI – J.J. Watt, Houston Texans (91.0)

Honorable Mention – Aaron Donald, Los Angeles Rams (91.4), Linval Joseph, Minnesota Vikings (87.1), Damon Harrison, New York Giants (86.9)

In addition to Defo and Trent being recognized on PFF's 1st team all-pro team through the first quarter of the NFL, we also had some special teamers get recognized.

Special Teams:
Raheem Mosert, San Francisco 49ers

Mostert has been outstanding on special teams for the 49ers, registering two tackles on punt returns and forcing fair catches on another two just this past weekend.. The former Purdue Boilermaker has played on the kick coverage, kick return, punt coverage and punt return units, and figures to be a key special teamer for the 49ers this season.

Bradley Pinion, San Francisco 49ers
Part of Mostert's success on special teams is due to San Francisco's punter. Bradley is currently tied for second in the league with 10 punts inside of the 20. He is also eighth in the league in net yards, averaging 44.3 yards per punt. This week, Indianapolis Colts special teams coordinator Tom McMahon spoke highly of Pinion, calling him one of the top punters in the league.

Wait Pinion being considered one of the top punters in the league???? I'd say i was surprised but given how many opportunities he's had to punt it was only a matter of time

Last Sunday was Pinion's best game yet. Dude was booting the **** out of the ball. Andy Lee really hit his stride in his third year. Hopefully, Pinion does the same.

Look at the names behind Defo. Talk about being in good company. Those are the heavy hitters.

Welp, no news on change at QB position, so staying true to my word and not watching until Hoyer is not leading the offense.

Hurts. My. Soul. to see the missed opportunities and plays that he can't execute that would have us 3-1 right now.

Begrudgingly hoping for a loss - to get closer to a benched Hoyer.

All that conjecture about Carlos Hyde not being a fit Trent brown not being a fit and Defo not being a fit all for naught.

Would be nice for the Colts to cut Frank lose and we can bring him back home. Especially being that we got a couple of hurting rb's right now.
