He's actually struggled so far. On Saturday he was beaten multiple times in 1 on 1 pass rush/ protection drills.
Not exactly surprising, he is a rookie and he is moving from where he last played in college, left tackle, to playing right tackle for us.
Joe Staley is mentoring him, and according to the reports they're "good friends" and McG asks Staley "20-30 questions a day" on how to improve.
So far he hasn't shown much, but it's still so early.

Do you guys remember Aaron Burbridge? I think he's got a legit shot to make the team lol. I forgot this dude was still on the team until I saw a photo of him during OTAs in May.

forgot that marquise just got that big 3 year extension. props to him for showin out last season after multiple seasons of buffalo just wasting his talent and speed.

So many guys have a legit chance to make the team. Too many WRs with too much talent
Besides the locks: Piere Garcon, Marquise Goodwin, Trent Taylor
We've got: Victor Bolden, Dante Pettis, Aaron Burbridge, Kendrick Bourne, Richie James who have all looked good
I'd say Aldrick Robinson is the furthest on the bubble WR for making the team at this point
I'll say this though the preseason games will probably be really fun to watch to see what this stable of 6 or so young WRs can do out on the field when they're each given their shot.
