This team hasn't gotten better because of awful draft decisions and numerous signings that didn't work, NTM a coach that lacks situational awareness who doesn't know how to manage personalities.

Can't let Kyle and John off the hook that easily by parting ways with them. They both need to fix their way out of the mess they made. And they'll get one more chance to do it next year.

Deebo, Juice, Moody. Them three should be among the first to have their lockers cleared if this team is serious about winning a Super Bowl.

I ain't even worried about Purdy. This is all a learning experience and he is only going to get better and smarter about the game. Darnold has a stronger arm than Brock, but Brock can do a lot more things than Darnold.

Tbqh I don't think Brock really likes playing for Shanahan and is waiting for a new staff to come on board. I do not see any camaraderie between QB and head coach and a team needs this relationship to be symbiotically on-point if it wants to win a SB.

What the 9ers will offer Purdy will ultimately speak volumes about their long term intention with Brock.

The bottom line is this: Will The Yorks choose Kyle over Brock?

Am I the only one who thinks there’s too much emphasis and importance placed on the qb at times. The Vikings are 11-2 with Sam Darnold. The Saints and Packers had some of the best qb’s of all time in Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. 2 combined Super Bowl appearances to show for it.

Unless you have a generational unicorn like Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes. An elite qb doesn’t guarantee you multiple Super Bowl appearances. Mind you Brees and Rodgers played on some stacked teams.

Nail this upcoming draft. A last place schedule with games against the Giants, Bears and Browns as opposed to games against the Eagles, Lions and Steelers sounds good right now. Playing the NFC south and AFC south next year is more appealing than playing the NFC and AFC north. Get guys healthy, cut some dead weight and run it back.

Horrible year, no way around it. They have to get younger and faster, some thoughts:

-Coaching: I'm not ready to move off Kyle. He needs to bring in an OC and revamp the passing game. If this team is in the same spot next year, then it's time to look at moving on. I don't like Sorenson but I also don't like the idea of bringing in another new DC, unless it's Saleh. Get Staley the **** outta here.
-QB: Brock needs to be better. He has limitations but has been very good in this system in general. I wouldn't give him top dollar but I don't see how he gets under $50m a year.
-WR: Deebo is my guy, but what a horrible season this has been. It's probably time to move on but they need to get better at the position. Hopefully BA will be the same player and Pearsall can improve. I love JJ, but if he's your number 1, you're in trouble.
-Need CMC to come back as the same player. Need to consistently target Kittle 8-10 times a game.
-Oline/Dline: Get ******* better.
-Bosa: be better. Hasn't been the same player since that contract.
-Hopefully they can bring back Greenlaw /Huf on short term deals.
-Special teams: Cut everyone including the coach and start over.

Purdy completed 77% of his passes that day. Darnold 65%. Purdy finished with more yards, 319 to 268. Darnold got 97 of those yards on a fluke busted coverage. That means he was 16/25 for 171 on the rest of his throws.
