Yes.  Gannicus was the main character in prequel.  He was a beast.  He was the Champion of the house until Crixus got there, and became the champion.  

  
 
Thanks dade, that's what I thought but it's been awhile since I watched it so wasn't 100% on the names..And Im not sure how I feel about that preview..They could have atleast given the dude taking over Spartacus' role the same haircut..Hope it stays a must see each week show..

Wasn't that blonde chick (forgot her name) killed in the first season? Since this is right after that then how is she alive? Didn't they throw her body off a cliff?

Only chick i can remember being thrown off a cliff was Gaia, Lucretia's friend. The blonde girl was able to leave the house right when all hell broke loose and the gladiators killed everyone
 
Was Illythia naked in the first season?  I'm pretty sure i've seen her boobs at some point during the season.  Looking forward to some new naked women in the new season.  This show is like softcore porn with some of the scenes they show.  I can imagine someone who doesn't know about the show walking in on you watching it and giving you a dirty look.

Season 2 was my favorite.  I wish it was 2 full seasons of the time period when Gannicus was the boss and running things.  I've always had a thing for Marissa Ramirez

just peeped the 1st ep the new actor is okay he portrays Spartacus as like a more serious kinda dude
while Any Whitfield had that sort of swag
storyline is on point cant wait for the rest of the season to unfold
 
I just realized today that it was online at Starz.com. Must watch tonight when I get home.

Let's see what this new Spartacus is about.
 
New dude is whatever. He looks like an extra to me, but the story gets all its fire back as the old characters show up.
