OFFICIAL STOCK MARKET AND ECONOMY THREAD VOL. A NEW CHAPTER

What would happen if Trump proposed defaulting on US debt?

Immediate WW3 and the end of America as we know it, or is there a slim chance we could get though it?

Seriously considering moving 100% equity 401k to cash like investment at these levels.

If all that happens, is USD cash in your 401k even worth anything?

Why would they do that ? The US goes to countless of wars just to force oil producing nations to demand USD. Really, the point of it all is to maintain the USD.

Hyper-inflate the dollar by printing $--->make USD worth less--> debts are less because dollar is worth less

How many pump fakes will there be?

I am not pretending to be the sharpest tool in the shed. But if trillions are being printed, the market might actually be "underpriced" right now and there is still a long way to go.

gold gonna slowly make new highs in the coming weeks. The CME group is having supply issues up the ****. the premium on physical gold and silver is also an indicator of how much supply is out there vs demand. been trying to get my hands on some gold coins and i have no luck and im not willing to pay a 12% premium on it when i used to pay 1-2%

Starting last night I switched my trading strategy to being long biased instead.

It's like playing a video game on easy mode. Even if I get a terrible entry, the dip buyers come in and swoop it back up in no time

I'm still bearish on the economy overall but if the fed insists on giving everyone free money I might as well take some while I can too.

Once we see a real sustained trend/sentiment change I'll flip back to shorting more.
