Portfolio getting thrashed today. Plus side, my energy holdings back in the green and GD getting some love.
 
Well the crash is kind of happening. Might be a short one, who knows, but tech stocks are taking a ******* beating. Really hope things balance out soon and rebound hard at the new year.

On November 18, 2016, the Board of Directors of Facebook, Inc. (the "Company") authorized the Company to repurchase up to $6.0 billion of its Class A common stock. The repurchase program will go into effect in the first quarter of 2017 and does not have a fixed expiration. The timing and actual number of shares repurchased will depend on a variety of factors, including price, general business and market conditions, and alternative investment opportunities. The program will be executed consistent with the Company's capital allocation strategy of prioritizing investment to grow the business over the long term. The program may be effected through open market purchases or privately negotiated transactions in compliance with Rule 10b-18 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, including through Rule 10b5-1 trading plans.

Interesting they do this at the same time their Chief Accounting Officer leaves, but this is still a good move.

Talking about coal stocks, capital gains taxes, short-term profits, etc. Why they ain't in here?

This. It's entertaining, but, I enjoy reading and talking about reality and actual finance. Not penny stocks and misinformed tax advice.

Now, how's everyone feeling about OPEC? Should I dump these VLO shares I'm holding?

Hope you held onto that VLO. I would take profits. Hard to believe oil runs too hot with all the excess supply the US will dump into the market under Trump.

One of my latest ideas, $fizz just posted incredible Q2 earnings. LaCroix parent co, margins growing. Weird CEO, otherwise, quite interesting.
