Four sessions, 7 hours each on my back
Got a more through consult scheduled for October and an appointment set for January to get started on my Rose & Acanthus half sleeve, the artist estimates the work will most likely take 10 hours and thinks he will want to do ti in two 4hour sessions and then a 3rd session to finish it all up.
How hard is it for yall to sit for 4 hours? Obviously this is a subjective question but I'm interested in what everyone has to say.
I tend to sit for as long as possible so I can get the healing process (dryness, scabbing, itching) underway and out of the way all at once; even though shorter sits would be far more comfortable and pleasant, I'd hate to have to go through the cycle multiple times. So for me that usually means 5-7 hours, with two or three small breaks just to pee, stretch or eat.How hard is it for yall to sit for 4 hours? I did a max of 5 hours. It didn't even look like 5 hours worth but that was about all I could take and that was on my arm. I saw a guy do his stomach and he did a max of 3 hours and the whole time, he had that "I am taking a crap" look on his face. Looks so damn painful. I don't think I'll ever get my stomach tattooed.
On an unrelated note, I finally saw some episodes of Ink Masters which I have never seen before. Man, talk about an odd show but still sort of fun to watch. I can't believe there are so many people willing to get tatted on that show. Some tattoos weren't that bad but man, some looked straight horrible for the challenge. Can't even say anyone is really good on the show. Just an interesting watch anyways.
