Official Toronto - Outlet and Store report

Nah, Bi-Way closed down before the whole And 1 era. You're probably thinking about Zellers.

People who know about the "Hot air balloons" in front of Simpsons (the Bay) and Eatons (Sears) at STC are really showing their age (me included) LOL
I so remember the hot air balloons at STC! I'd stand there as a kid and watch each balloon go up and down with the hot air blowing elevating it lol! I think I have a pic of me standing in front of it somewhere.

I miss that arcade that was up on the 2nd floor.. had some good times there.

May'be I'm the only one that remembers this.. Walmart wasn't actually named Walmart to begin with. It was Woolco back then. I remember at Markville Mall lol.
Wish I knew about dollys. I had to get my cards at ak sports in agincourt, and deal with the grumpy old guy.
Dude that comic book store at Agincourt mall with the grumpy old dude!! I remember him! I found out about that joint when I started getting into Spider-Man comics!

I think that comic book store is still there?

Your talking about AK Card Shop.. I spent so much money there when I was a kid. Funny enough man years later I saw him the Casino at Niagara and he had a fat stack of cash.

The old grumpy guy is infamous

Used to cop comics and basketball cards from there too.

Y'all remember the old Athletes World/Nike Store?

All these posts are taking me back! AK with the ol' grump, Agincort had this other place for comics where the Beer Store is now, "The Big Mix Up" or something where they also sold, um, booze?
The arcades' (Fairview and/or Markville was "Sky Games") SF2, MK, KI, Daytona, NBA Jam...too much $ spent. STC had Sport Fantasy for jerseys, tho I did buy a lot from High5 too.

^ WOW. Wasn't there some kind of permanent year-round Christmas store there or something too?

P.S. Any way we can see that custom slammer?

 I don't know about thaaaat, it could come back and bite me one day but I'll consider it.

Dollys had great prices and always packed with kids, theyre still around at a plaza in Brimley/Montezuma Trail. They got some good beef patties next door

FAHMEE! :smokin

Y'all remember the old Athletes World/Nike Store?

Athlete's World with the mini half court set up + Sega Genesis in store. Ruined maaaad people at MK at the SQ1 location.

Speaking of which, for the west end members on here...when SQ1 had a carousel and one of those swinging pirate ship rides in the mall.

Also our Sport Chek had a legit half court inside there as well.

Too much nostalgia in this thread lol.

Anyone buy groceries from Miracle Mart and return your glass soda bottles back into the conveyer belt for $0.05 deposit back? LOL

WOOOOOOOW serious OG right here!!!! Before Market Village was built, hell before the 416/905 area code split

Any other collectors would scope out that Fairview card stand/booth (above where the food court is now), ~1997 they actually had a Jordan rookie card on display.

Can't recall that place but then again my parents had pop delivered to the house every Saturday and fresh buns as well. Not sure if anyone remembers the pop truck or the early morning ( 3-4am) fresh bun delivery. All the Portuguese people in our area had them delivered. The buns were clutch if you were getting home after 3am.
