Interesting, I remember when the Flyknit Lunar 1s came out, Nike Bloor offered free "Steam-Fitting" in store to anyone who purchased. Didn't do it, but it sounded cool.

Re:Lunar 3s. Absolutely narrow, especially in the heel. I usually .5 up on Flyknit, and I honestly felt like I could have gone a full size up, given how tight and narrow the heel is. I've actually messed up whatever support material is providing shape to the heel from struggling to fit my heel in.

Having said that, they do stretch out, and they're perfectly comfortable for light runs. The heel narrowness is headscratching as they really nailed the fit on the Lunar 2.

I agree 100%. Very narrow and I have narrow feet as well. I'm not having any issues with the narrow heel to be honest, just the sides of the toe box (bunion area). I feel like one shoe is tighter than the other as well since it's only the left foot that has the tightness issue. Right feels great. Length is fine but width of the toe box is next level skinny. I actually was trying on a pair of 10.5 as well which is a full size up from my regular size and they felt pretty good. Pissed now because I'm thinking I should have gotten those instead and I live far from V Mills. In my case, they aren't horribly tight and uncomfortable. I would say at most they cause "mild discomfort" in that specific area so I am hoping that there is that slight ability to stretch over time so that goes away.

Why don't you stuff a t-shirt inside the toebox for a few hours to stretch it out?

I've gone down a half size in Flyknit Trainers, and while it is tight on the first few wears in the same area, it does stretch over time.

Thanks Man. That's a good idea as well. I've been wearing them this morning around the house for like 3 hours to try to stretch them. I know they'll stretch out eventually and I actually do feel it was smarter to go with the 9 rather than sizing up a full size and feeling like they're slightly too big. Really it's always safer to go down half size than risk going too big, especially with athletic sneakers.

No i just wear regular size socks, and my feet are quite wide
My true size is 10.5 and i wear size 11 on narrow shoes like aj1 and size 11.5 on foams

Check your mailbox,for some reason they didn't drop at the door this time but left it at the mailbox. If not track and see if they have actually delivered to u yet.

maybe the racer isn't for you... no offence.  It's just a narrow shoe to begin with and sizing up doesn't make the narrow footbed significantly wider

Mailbox is right beside my door, and nothing yesterday.... Hopefully I go home to a nice surprise today

Not necessarily. I'm a TTS 10.5 like him and all of my Racers are an 11. I tried 10.5 and it was way too snug and restricting. Though most go TTS I've seen plenty of people size up in the FKR thread. 11 fits me perfectly so hopefully it works out for him.

but do you have lots of space in the front? From my experience at working at multiple shoe stores and knowing a foot specialist, people have a habit of buying shoes that don't fit.  Some shoes just weren't meant to fit everyone.  I've seen people buy shoes that were multiple sizes too big just because they have a wide foot.

Thought I'd provide some insight..

Without opening a huge can of worms, some shoes just don't fit everyone. Manufacturers make one shoe and you just can't expect it to fit everyone (recall the racer is was originally intended to be a running shoe for athletes). As much as you might want it, if you size up, sometimes you just make the shoe longer but its still narrow (likely the case for racers). BTW I've seen 5+ foot specialist/chiropodist to "review" a bunch of my shoes, and they all agreed the racers are pretty bad in terms of providing any form of structural support (the heel counter is non-existent as well), and wouldn't recommend it (I only wear them casually so meh

). But with that said, a lot of people buy shoes too big/small for multiple (bad) reasons (e.g. hype, styles, on sale, etc.). The way I see it, if you're gonna be on your feet wearing your shoes for any prolonged period of time, you want to be damn sure they're comfy and not gonna cause you short/long-term pain/probs).   

Furthermore, as I'm sure most people are aware, the shoe size number alone isn't very reliable. Different shoe manufacturers might be slightly off even if the number is the same. This is further complicated by wide/narrow feet. Ideally you should test the shoes for fit before you buy (I know, I know, this is nearly impossible with anything hype or if you have to buy online

Love the look of Js but after wearing them for more than a few hours they start to destroy my feet lol can't deal with that
 
My MC racers, if anyone cared lol. Came with a little scuff on the right shoe but I can't complain when I got them for 50% off after ebates. sorry for potato quality.

Not at all. With 10.5 my big toe would nearly hit the edge; the length was doable even though I prefer a tad bit more space, but I found it too suffocating in width. My brother has 10.5's so I've tried both properly. I have 8 Racers myself, all size 11, and there's definitely some variance in their fit.

Yeah, my brother used to work in a shoe store and he said the amount of people who mistakingly wore the wrong size was ridiculous. Agreed, Racers probably aren't for those with really wide feet but mine definitely aren't narrow. I'm neither really wide or narrow so they work well for me.

Your weave looks great! After seeing pics in the racers thread I was a little concerned I'd have a mismatched looking pair. Very happy with what I was sent and didn't have to order multiples to mix and match.

This worked out, my two pairs of racers came in. I swapped the right shoe of one pair and a left of the other, now they're pretty much identical
