Official Umar Johnson Thread

The Kevin Samuels thread got closed because once KHUFU got exposed for the clown and FRAUD that he is folks came gunning for him (rightfully so) and he couldn’t handle it. I wouldn’t be surprised if KHUFU called the mods for help (which he has openly admitted doing before) and as a result the thread got locked.

I think you P Present said you were out of town recently and missed out on what happened during the last few days of that thread. I went back and looked at the last few pages of that thread and a lot of posts got deleted. So FRAUD#1 is KHUFU. Dude was getting roasted before things ended. In regards to FRAUD#2.......just read post# 3702 in the link below. Dude got checked and called out in post# 3856.

I had nothing to do with that. I am certain that the administrator saw the Black woman bashing that began to occur, with one poster calling them garden tools.

Do you have a problem with Kevin Samuels message of holding Black women accountable for their life choices, ways, and actions?

If so, then can you explain your issue logically?

Ex: No ad-hominem or other logical fallacies?

You cannot hold a people accountable when they do not have complete autonomy, ownership over themselves. None of the laws governing women in this country were made by Women. They were made by men, for the empowerment of men. The three major religions of this country deny women a voice on women's issues, treating them as second class citizens as well.

If women were completely free, then you could hold them accountable. However, they are fighting a fight with both hands tied behind their backs, supposedly for their own protection from themselves.

Lol the one dude tried to justify his sexist comments by proudly stating that in his culture "women have no choice". Like that makes sh^$ all good.

If people are serious about not getting this thread locked as well I suggest they get over the samuels thread and learn their lesson.

I am all about Black empowerment, of which cannot occur if Black women are left behind, then remaining as second class citizens. I am none too concerned about any other race of people. That is because they have ALL had a head start ahead of us. ALL did. There isn't a race of people on this planet that has not had success denied to them, as has been done to us, Black people.

On the other hand, NOBODY has had it rougher than Black women. NOBODY.

So,

You don't like Kevin Samuels message of accountability for Black Women because of Slavery.

and,

The Black man is accountable for Slavery because he didn't listen to Black Women.

Ipso Facto:

Black Women are always right, even when they are wrong.

That's your thing?

I do not like the discussion that Samuels is having about accountability, because it isn't about empowerment, it is about oppression.

If his discussion were about the great things that a Stacy Abrams is doing, and how she should be an influence even though she does not appear as Samuels may wish? Then it would be an fair discussion.

However, ignoring the complexity of womanhood, reducing her to simply a help meet, is some idiotic abrahamic bullcrap.

The fight is that these men think that humans were made in the image of Man, not Woman.

That is at the ROOT of the problem.

when did stacey abrams call in to the ks show?
That's the problem. Kevin Samuels would ask her why she may not smile at him if she were on the show, never mind how much she has achieved in regard to registering Black people to vote in GA.

Is the Creator not omnipotent?

Why would we assume the Creator has a gender at all (be it man or woman)?

The Bible itself states: "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image"

Personally I cannot invest in the idea of Man vs Woman / Misogyny vs Misandry.

False dilemma IMHO.

2 sides of the same ignorant coin.

"A false dilemma, also referred to as false dichotomy, is an informal fallacy based on a premise that erroneously limits what options are available. The source of the fallacy lies not in an invalid form of inference but in a false premise."

The only battle I'm interested in is fact vs fiction.

The fact of the matter is the Black Family is suffering.

Kevin Samuels (like him or not) has provided facts from the Census Bureau, HUD, and other sources that show where we are, and the people calling into the show share their own truth, voluntarily, for the world to see.

He has stated that his goal is to bring Black men and Black women closer together and I for one am down with that.

He has even shown that he has placed Black people together on his platform who ended up getting married.

Just wondering why you are so quick to tear a Black man down just because he doesn't share your world view.

Calling him and others "misogynists" with no evidence or proof.

I thought the thread was shut down because of bashing Black women...in reality that wasn't the case.

When we get to a place where holding adults accountable for their ways and actions is considered "bashing" then we have created a protected class of citizen, something I for one cannot support because it isn't in line with the facts....as evidenced by the past / current state of affairs in this Nation.

I myself provided facts from the CDC and folks were trying to tell me heart disease and diabetes doesn't impact Black people the same because the White man created the BMI chart...Word???

Tell that to my two Aunts who are dying from diabetes right now Fam.

Neither of them saw a real salad their whole lives.

Go tell them that they are Queen Mother Universe and to use their Third Eye to heal themselves, neverminded what that White devil doctor says - and eat all the pork rinds they want because Kevin Samuels / Black Men are all "misogynists" anyway. TF!

Anyway - I digress.

Now that I know the KS thread wasn't shut down over "misogyny" I will fall back.

Through the beliefs that are present right now, the three that are most popular, those of Abrahamic origin, the creator is indeed called a man, and his name is Yaweh. Jews aren't allowed to say his name, Christians simply do not know it, and the other belief seem to not even know that their creator is the same god from the other beliefs, even though they are all the god of abraham.

The dilemma of the Black family is that there are too many cooks in the kitchen, with too many opinions from outsiders being considered. The biggest problem is that the traditions that once held us together have been corrupted. So here we are, allowing all others to dictate what it means to be Black, when they don't consider themselves Black, interrupting our conversations, then given credence because they have documentation that wasn't even meant for us, that shows the only way to win against oppression is to join with NON BLACKS, as if that hasn't been done already.

The only thing Black people haven't tried, is to do exactly the opposite of what has already been done while living in this country.

Why emulate the white nuclear family dynamic, when that was never our thing in the first place?

Kevin Samuels is promoting a vision through a christian lens, and it does not empower anyone but men.

IMHO the only reason you have the luxury of focusing on "Abrahamic" this and "Misogyny" that is because you are so far away from the boots on the ground.

You yourself have spoken of having personal relationships with women who are worth millions, while being married to Claire Huxtable, and living like Cliff.

You're trying to bring Cosby Show problems to Good Times where most of us live.

I could even meet you at the Jefferson's because at least they started off poor.

If "Christianity" / the Church can help provide structure to our families or help people make better choices then who are you to crap on that from your Ebony tower?

If Kevin Samuels content can help Black People become closer and more accountable for our decisions then who are you to shut him down while offering nothing in return?

Gotta be able to read the room my Brother.

Your views are way too far from the actual problems most of us face.

Talking about advanced Mathematical analysis and Calculus to a people that cant even add...then calling us dummies.

Just saying that you can trace your history back to Africa is a slap in the face to 99% of the people here in the United States that came by way of misery and a suffering.

Reminds me of Africans who come here dissing Black people.

We lost out here and Samuels is at least providing content that's supported by facts. Whether you like him or not - the numbers aint lying.

You got a map to salvation then grab your glasses, your favorite drink, Chelsea boots, go on YouTube, and share the plug Fam!

Bashing Black men aint the solution is all I'm saying.

Black men aren't the problem.

Black women aren't the problem.

LIES are the problem!

P Present

That's a typical sentiment foreign blacks have towards African Americans. Looking down on their current status, being too lofty in their assessment of their woes and ignoring the effects of not having a cultural identity destroyed and systematic racism from institutions.

One of my favorite white people said this,” without religion, man is condemned to his freedoms,” dude was deep, and he did not dismiss spirituality. He dismissed religion.

Yes it is, and it is indeed a problem. However I am certain that you are not confusing my slapping of religion, with putting down Black people.

It kind of is tho.

I'm critical of the black church, but I'm honest about the fact they older relatives don't really socialize or hang out outside of the church because that was the only social gathering allowed back in their times.

KS is definitely speaking to the church crowd. Even though what goes on there has overlap that's clearly his demographic. He's still from that generation.

Honestly we do need to reject a lot of the socializing from the black church, but before we do that we need a suitable replacement.

I disagree, because praying to a white man was never the move. The story of the Haitian Revolution magnifies the effect of praying to the ancestors for assistance, under the guise of Black gods and Goddesses. If you want to learn, it's out there. My problem is with those who will keep their heads buried out of fear. Once we begin to fight back in this war that is ongoing against us? There cannot be no doubt as to what we are doing and for who.

Christianity
I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent' I Timothy 2:12.

Islam

According to the Quran, 'Men are the maintainers (or in charge) of women. So the good women are obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah has guarded. And (as to) those whose part you fear desertion, admonish them and leave them alone in their beds and chastise them. So if they obey you, seek not a way against them.' (Quran 5:34).

Hinduism
Many Hindu religious texts describe women as deceitful and sexually provocative by nature. The following quote from the Devi Bhagaveta (1.5.83) is typical. 'A woman is the embodiment of rashness and a mine of vices. she is an obstacle to the path of devotion, a hindrance to emancipation. she is practically a sorceress and represents vile desire.'

Buddhism
According to Buddhist tradition, the Buddha's stepmother wished to become a nun. She expressed this wish to the Buddha several times and each time she was refused. Finally, on the advice of one of his disciples, he acquiesced. But even as he did so, the Buddha claimed that establishing a community of nuns would reduce the time in which his teaching (the dharma) would be effective from 1,000 to 500 years.

Judaism
One of the morning blessings made by an Orthodox Jewish male: 'Blessed are you Lord our God, King of the Universe, who has not made me a woman.'
If "Christianity" / the Church can help provide structure to our families or help people make better choices then who are you to crap on that from your Ebony tower?

See the above text? That's why I can do it. I've read it, and it is wrong.

What, you want climb up on the backs of Black women, then leave them behind after you reach the top, telling them to hold themselves accountable?

Kevin Samuels isn't doing anything but offering up that bootstrap nonsense that all other preachers offer, all while asking for funds to fix the ever leaking church roof.
