1-0 should have been the result going into the half. The obvious mistake by the refs, smh.
Mexico had four opportunities. One of those was almost a goal by Salcido, product of a huge mistake by Romero. The other was the shot Guardado took that just went begging. Lastly, the Chicharito shot just outside the box and the cross by Salcido that Chicharito just missed.
The game is not over yet. 2-0 scoreline is the most deceiving scoreline because one goal changes things. We'll see.

Yeah, FIFA have strict rules about teams having completely different kits - so if they both have white shorts and socks you have to wear an alternate - it can lead to some wacky combinations.

its not that hard to figure out fifa.
That would be obvious wouldn't it?
But, the rules on kits are that each team has to have 2 - one light and and one dark one.
One is their main kit and that's the one they play in - unless there is a clash with the other team - then they change parts of it until there isn't a clash. The home team (and I think that's defined as the one geographically closest to where they're playing) gets to wear their main kit and the other team has to modify theirs - but each team has the right to wear their whole main kit at least once in the tournament.
