^^ man shut up.!
You can not be that dumb and that blind to not see the extreme difference in the shoes players wear.
Nobody is saying Kobe was the first to wear low tops.
What they are saying is that he change the game and went against the grain to wear since a low and light shoe.
Yeah Gilbert and who ever wore low tops before Kobe or what not, and I really can't speak for everyone else but I sure as hell wasn't like "yo, Gilbert rocking some lows!! I gotta go cop these and play ball in these too.!"
I didn't even notice it really, I never cared that he rocked lows.
Now, Kobe starts wearing them, everybody follows his game and he has just about always had great performing shoes. So everyone is on the look out for them.
Every court or game or rec center I've Been to, I've seen atleast.. Atleast 4 pairs of Kobes.
Just about every team in the NBA has a player or two that rocks kobes.
WNBA players wear kobes.
And every review that the Kobe IV & V has gotta has been good so don't talk like they trash or not good.
The Kobe sneaker line has won sneaker of the year like two years in a row.
And once Kobe went low, the talk trashs came out I believe and the made the hyperdunk a low.
And when hyperize was banned.
And alot of people stopped wearing and then they added the airmax bubble to it.
And yeah Nike pays them to wear nike's, but they can't switch shoes when ever they feel like it.
They didn't have to keep wearing those shoes, they did on their own.
Like Fisher and Odom for example... Odom bounced between the IV, V, & hyperdunk last year
fisher wore hypermax and the IV and V last year
people switch it up.
