roll.gif

But Im sure those on Niketalk long enough would of saw him hijacking a post with his e-arguments could tell.
Remember him posting how people at Fashion Week didnt like Nike? Or how Zoom was the devil? Or the classic white NBA player banned for steroids (there was none....idiot got Birdman confused with either Geiger or MacClean) or how he went to Footlockers to ask about the sales numbers on Kobe shoes so he could go on Niketalk and hurt our feelings. In other words....his act has been going on for years on NT

ON TOPIC NOW.....Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (who wore Adidas for all but 1 of his many seasons) told Kobe how he believed wearing low tops prolonged his career.

^lol

like i said ignore him.

he jus needs attention..

mybe nobody cares bout him in where he at.

jus continue with the updates man.

GOODBYE

P.S.

Changed because Kobe changed his stance
Just like you cannot prove that "god" exists, you still did not prove that Kobe Bryant made low top shoes popular. This is not a comprehensive study, this is simply hearsay. Show the stats, then I will believe.

All that may be fine and dandy, but Kobe Bryant did not make low top shoes popular.

Just as everyone knows, Nike paid those people to wear them, so kids like those on Niketalk would want to wear them.

You .         are .            in  .              a .                 Nike.             Kobe .             thread  .
 Let it go Nat.

And yes, you are trolling.  You are not contributing anything to this thread at all, other than a debate, a debate about how much you dislike Nike and Kobe Bryant.

BTW here is a study if found interesting about ankle sprains,

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2724472/

Some recent studies reported that players with a history of ankle sprain, players wearing shoes with air cells in the heel, and players who did not stretch before exercising were 4.9, 4.3 and 2.6 times more likely to sustain an ankle sprain injury [57]. People with inferior single leg balance [58] and overweight [59] were 2.4 and 3.9 times more likely to have sprain injury respectively. Reduced ankle dorsiflexion range [60], the use of artificial turf for soccer [61] and having a posteriorly positioned fibula [62] were also reported as risk factors. In 2005, Willems and coworkers [63] investigated some dynamic risk factors during gait in related to ankle sprain injury. They reported that for subjects who were at risk of sustaining an inversion sprain, a laterally situated center of plantar pressure was found at initial contact during the stance phase. The same research group also reported the intrinsic risk factors for inversion ankle sprain for male and female. For male, a slower running speed, less cardiorespiratory endurance, less balance ability, decreased dorsiflexion muscle strength, decreased dorsiflexion range of motion, less coordination ability, and faster reaction of the tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius muscles were the significant risk factors [64]. For female, a less accurate passive joint inversion position sense, a higher extension range of motion at the first metatarsophalangeal joint, and a less coordination of postural control were the major risk factors [65]. However, we have to be aware that these risk factors are only some correlations with ankle ligament sprain injury. They may not be the direct cause, or the aetiology of ankle ligament sprain.

Where did I even say that?

All I said was that Kobe did not make lows popular! Nobody has been able to prove that he did, there are no stats, no proof, nothing. I am getting everything else, but no proof of what is being claimed!

I've proved that others have always worn lows, so why the beef?

oh no... don't start telling me not to wear Nike shoes because of their air cell technology

. Almost all shoe companies use some air cell technology in the heel. Would you rather play sports on wood? I am sure a wood sole would be great for your ankles

The shoe is a beautiful shoe. However, it is cheaply made, but very good looking. However, the endorser did not make lows popular.
