Whats the difference between the translucent and the court sole? I'm going to be playing on court, but i think translucent looks a lot better.

The asphalt soles are thicker compared to the court sole. They're made to be more durable for outdoors.

my ID arrived. navy/white/silver as primary colors.
the build quality is not as good/clean as Kobe V. if you look real carefully there are some paint overflow and glue stains... also the big white swoosh on the side is not a true "white" but is kinda smeared baby blue. but still pretty happy with them, prob use this as my beater pair..
comparisons to my Kobe V ID's.
as you can see the sole is not a true clear translucent sole, it's as if it's been seaglow'd to death.. but this may be a good thing..?
wearing wise. feels a bit more cushioned than the V ID (that i keep DS, only wore to compare). the upper is almost requires no break-in time. when you flex bend your foot, the V kinda "pokes" where the toe meets the body of my foot, VI doesn't. traction wise it's almost the same, but my VI does have the outdoor sole. VI has wider forefoot, but V has wider "heel"... so i feel V is almost more stable? gotta try out VI on the court to really know.

real nice. those soles are icey as hell. really like the silver on those.
and damn, the 5s look outdated compared to these 6s.

Nice photos. Makes a future purchase much easier. Some of these accent colors are way off. Purple sockliner and a different shade on the outsole. I wouldn't stand for that. But other shoes look just about perfect. Like NWTs pair or the pair on page 34, with maize midsole and sockliner.
I guess its a toss up with what colors truly match and those that dont?

my V whiteout ID's (with clear sole) had a blue tint as well, but that quickly went away after wearing them once or twice.
the silver heal looks nice. i'd like to know how the silver heal cup looks with a black heal.

Man, this year I'm tryin to stick to Kobes and Lunars...maybe some KDs. That's it....tryin to pass on all retros. Thatll save me some $$ and space.
