Why?
Why do you care that they share our town? They can lay claim to "best team in the city" as much as they want to. Til it = titles, it don't mean **** anyways.
It would take them 2 decades just to equal our success, much less surpass it. So why should them being "better" now matter?
Going out to LA in a few weeks is Staples usually open to the public to just look around, wanna definitely get a pic with Magic's statue and some stuff inside if I can.
Why can't the Clippers just move out of town?

Wish the clippers would move to Seattle and we'll see how excited Matt Barnes is about playing for them then...

Cause LA is for the Lakers only for me.
I'm not bothered that they got the better team at this moment, and I know that they won't even touch the Lakers accomplishments. Pfft Clippers, they're only good at pretending.

I think either 9/5 or 9/6Does anyone know when Laker tickets go on sale? I'm actually trying to go back soon and see a Lakers game

Jordan Hill the jump shooter?
August, 22, 2013
By Joe Kaiser | ESPN.com
Yes, you read that right. As useful as Jordan Hill's biggest strength -- offensive rebounding -- is on a NBA court, the big man always seemed ill-fitted on the Los Angeles Lakers roster under the direction of head coach Mike D'Antoni. That was last season.
Next season, Hill hopes a summer spent working on his perimeter shot will translate into an expanded role on the offensive side of the ball.
Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News spoke to Hill about it in a story published on Wednesday.
“I’m still going to do what I’m going to do,” said Hill. “Provide energy, play defense, rebound. That’s my game. That’s not going to change. I just want to be able to have more options and have something that the team can rely on. It’s all about just trying to expand my game.”
In 29 games last season, Hill led the NBA in offensive rebound rate (20.3) among all players averaging at least 5 minutes a game. That number will drop if he drifts out to the perimeter more in 2013-14, and that runs the risk of watering down his best skill, but if Hill can remain among the game's best on the offensive glass and become more of a well-rounded offensive threat in the process, he'll be in for a big pay day as a free agent next summer.
Meeks seeks bigger role

By Nick Borges | ESPN.com
Jodie Meeks signed with the Los Angeles Lakers last year to have a chance at making the playoffs and competing for the Western Conference title. The season didn't go as planned as Dwight Howard never fit in with the offense and other players struggled, too. The Lakers were also decimated with injuries and it eventually hit Meeks. He is recovering from an ankle injury and expects to be fit for the start of training camp.
Going into his second season with the club, Meeks is eyeing a bigger role in 2013-14, especially with Kobe Bryant coming back from his torn Achilles.
"I think it’s more mental," Meeks tells Dave McMenamin of ESPNLosAngeles.com. "Telling myself that it’s a really big opportunity for myself to show what I can do. Regardless of what the situation is, I’m going into this last month, month and a half of summer training thinking I’m going to be playing major minutes or possibly starting. If that doesn’t happen, then it just doesn’t happen, but I think that’s mentally what I have to think about."
Meeks will have plenty of competition for minutes as the Lakers signed Nick Young and Wesley Johnson in July. All three will become free agents in 2014.
"I try not to worry about stuff I can’t control," Meeks said. "I have a year under my belt with Coach D’Antoni’s system so that kind of puts me ahead of the curve to start the season ..."

I feel the same way, more or less.Neither of these two uniforms would've happened if Jerry was still running the show.
When a team introduces all sorts of alternate jerseys its usually to distract fans from the product on court. I rather see moves made to improve the team rather then new uniforms introduced.
The lakers wear gold at home and purple on the road, no need for all this extra stuff. U have no problem with those fashion Swingman jerseys but stuff like that should never be worn on court for a team with a tradition like the lakers.
This is like the Yankees putting names on the back of their jerseys and introducing a black alternate. It just doesn't look right
