I watched the pilot for The Flash just now, not bad...never got into Green Arrow, but the first episode for Flash wasn't too bad

I went to see Gone Girl last night with my girlfriend.

:eek I thought the movie was great. I thought Affleck was great, and I REALLY loved Rosamund Pike. I've never seen her in any other films but I think I'll have to check her out. Also very surprised in how good Tyler Perry was. I think if he can stick to more serious roles like this one, he could turn his career around for the most part. My girlfriend said it was good too, which was surprising to me because these types of movies aren't really her thing.

I'm gonna have to try and con her into seeing Foxcatcher finally comes out. :lol

For you nature lovers check out Nature: Honey Badgers on Netflix. Really cool documentary. These critters are so damn strong, intelligent and ballsy. Cool watch.

RIP...

Actress Elizabeth Pena, who co-starred in “Jacob’s Ladder” and “La Bamba,” died Oct. 14 in Los Angeles after suffering from a brief illness, according to her nephew, Latino Review writer Mario-Francisco Robles. She was 55.

Born in Elizabeth, N.J., and raised by Cuban immigrant parents, Pena’s career spanned nearly 40 years. She began performing in New York theater, and got her professional start in 1978 with Leon Ichaso’s “El Super.”
She went on to appear in films including “Rush Hour,” “Blue Steel” and “Batteries Not Included,” starred in her own primetime series on ABC, “I Married Dora” and lent her voice to the “Justice League” animated series, “American Dad!” and to Disney-Pixar’s “The Incredibles,” where she voices Mirage.

Pena also had a recurring guest role on ABC’s “Modern Family” as Pilar, the mother of Sofia Vergara’s Gloria.

The actress recently wrapped work on the first season of El Rey Network’s “Matador,” where she played the title character’s mother.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend and colleague, Elizabeth Peña,” El Rey said in a statement. “She was a role model, a truly extraordinary performer and an inspiration in every sense of the word. Our thoughts are with Elizabeth’s family and friends during this difficult time. She ‎will be deeply missed.

Pena is survived by her husband, two children, mother and sister.

Edit - I first saw Pena in La Bamba (under rated movie) & last remember her as the voice of Mirage in The Incredibles. I remember looking up who that character's voice was & thought to myself, that's whats up... RIP... Posting the song that played at the end of La Bamba when Ritchie's mom went nuts after hearing her beloved son died...
