Franco is terrible tonight... I usually love dude. Think he's a great actor. But this is uncomfortable.

Someone tweeted something along the lines of "127 Hours... Funny, that's how long Franco is making this show feel." ... Couldn't be more spot on.

has anyone seen 'Big Fan' with Patton Oswalt?

a little over the top and I can't imagine a sports fan being THAT obsessed, but it was pretty cool.

Book wise I was expecting to hear/see something about Canseco's book, and/or the Mitchell report.

Prime, I thought about it for a while, here's my best guess.  Martin was a "DeNiro guy" maybe he simply didn't like or want to work with Pacino.  I don't know for sure, but there had to be at least some little bit of rivalry between the two actors, maybe Martin out of some sort of loyalty to Robert, didn't want to offer any roles to Pacino.  Sound feasible?

I have seen all those movies except for The King's Speech (which I will get too) with one exception, what the the hell is this movie Winter's Bone?  I had never even heard of that flick til Friday, what the heck is it about?  When did it release, Dec 31st or something?

I thought Big Fan was alright. Kevin Corrigan is maybe my favorite irrelevant actor ever.

Winter's Bone was incredible.

It was a Sundance film and I don't think it ended up having any kind of significant wide release, so that's why it was relatively unknown before awards season.
