I got Buried sitting at home...haven't found time to watch it. For those who have, is it a good flick?

Thank you for the preview Kev, I'm gonna see if I can find that real quick.

J's, I like Burried, to me it's one of those watch it once, Phone Booth, 90 minute in and out type movies that keep your attention the whole time, just to see what could or might happen, and if they stretched it out any longer they would lose every viewer.  JPZ and Kev both mentioned some stuff a couple pages back that makes me wonder if I missed something, but it's worth the watch at least once.

On a "God I would love to see this happen" note, I've heard/seen/read rumors of Sheen being involved in a Major League 3?

The Buried theory wasn't much of anything. I'll message you.

I completely agree about the movie, overall - really suspenseful, perfect length, and I never intend to watch it again. Not because it wasn't good, but just because there's really no reason to. I thought the ending was perfect, too.

Stuff like this made the book that much more readable.  In between the Russel, Bird, 2008 stories, this stuff was awesome.

Winter's Bone is an awesome movie... This year was nuts.

Buried was enjoyable. It's worth a watch.

And maaan... Russell Crowe is greatness. Nobody makes career decisions like Leo, and that is why he's #1. He has tied himself to premier projects and directors for years. Crowe has some duds on his resume, but man he's absolutely great in everything he's in, even if it's a marginal film overall.

LA Confidential
The Insider
Gladiator
Beautiful Mind
Master and Commander
American Gangster
Cinderella Man
Yuma

My God, how the hell did I forget LA Confidential.

That's on me.  I love the hell outta that movie, in fact based off that and Memento, I don't get why Guy Pierce didn't completely blow up.

I really liked State of Play, and American Gangster was solid, I just dunno if I go 1A, 1B with him.

Ugh.  I dunno.  Past 15 years, so 94-09, I mean, Hanks is in play there, Denzel, Damon I agree with,  Kevin Spacey, he may be flagrant, but he was money for a good stretch there.  I ain't even got to Bale yet.  And he was just as good in Yuma, and Crowe got smoked by Leo in Body of Lies.  @#$% Spacey and Guy were $$ in LA.  I mean, damn, is Crowe even headlining his own movies?  Denzel in AG.  Am I crazy here?
nerd.gif

We need to do some sort of a NT ranking on this.  Don't laugh, cuz I'm not kidding.
laugh.gif

Edit
Hanks since 93-94
Philadelphia
Forrest Gump
Apollo 13
That Thing You Do
Saving Private Ryan
The Green Mile
Cast Away
Road to Perdition
Catch Me if You Can
Da Vinci Code
Charlie Wilson's War

That doesn't include any of the Toy Story's, or chick flicks, or Polar Express.......

Crowe seein this???

Hanks did work from 94-04, but since then he hasn't really done much.

Now if we're talking from 04 on, my man Brad Pitt deserves to be considered. Dude really stepped his acting up:

Troy
Babel
Burn After Reading
The Assassination of Jesse James
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Inglourious Basterds (that purposely terrible accent was awesome)

It would actually be Major League 4.  Also did some research, "Scorsese is attached to direct the upcoming project The Irishman, that will be starred by Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Al Pacino.[sup]#cite_note-64"[/sup]
