Dazed And Confused is one of my favorite movies but haven't checked that out yet. I think it's on my amazon watch list.

Been home sick the past 3 days w/ a stomach bug...been spending a lot of QT on the couch watching movies.

The Land - 4/8

Caught this on showtime the other day. The visuals are what carry this film. Not a plot we haven't heard/seen before, but a solid watch if you have 2 hours to kill. Not sure how many films this director has under his belt, but if this was one of his first, I'd say he's off to a good start. Just has to shore up his scripts.

Do The Right Thing - 7.5/8

Seen this before, but it was on again today, so I had to sit and watch it. Too young to grasp the depth when I first saw the film as a kid, but man, a lot of the themes really resonate with me considering the climate of the world today.

Mystic River - 7/10

One of those great Boston crime dramas that I just love. All-star cast and a great plot that will keep you guessing till the very end. Give me a Boston crime drama over NYC any day of the week.
