Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Just saw the 3 Indiana Jones movies were on Netflix. Binge watched them all yesterday. I forgot how absolutely terrible the 2nd one was. Like sooooo bad it was good in a Big Trouble in Little China kinda way. A good addition to the series unlike the newest one which I refuse to acknowledge.

On New Year's Day, I was at the inlaws for a holiday brunch. We were chopping it up about music & movies. I said that it's a shame Mads Mikkelsen hasn't been in a lot lately. Lo & behold this trailer drops. I was so happy to see Mikkelsen in Rogue One. I was always impressed at his potrayal of Hannibal Lector in the NBC show. I wouldn't say he was better or that Tony Hopkins was better. Both were phenomenal. I was always very very surprised at how munch NBC allowed to show on the tv series. I'm not a horror or gore fan at all but I liked what the series showed. I'll peep this flick when it's available. I hope to see Mikkelsen much more.

White Boy Rick - 3/8

Only thing good about the movie itself was Matthew McCanoughey (sp?) Other than that, I was indifferent to what I was watching. It seemed like a fascinating story...one in which I do wonder how it would have been told if the movie had a larger budget.

The Family Fang 6/8

Directed by Jason Bateman. Starring Bateman, Nicole Kidman, and Christopher Walken.

This was a real good watch. Interesting family and story. Very engaging. Everybody was solid.
