Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

So I'm just now finding out Brad Pitt has produced, If Beale St. Could Talk, Selma, 12 Years A Slave, Moonlight, and next up, THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD! All of which were fire, does he qualify for a ***** pass?

Sigh I can't watch this series until Tom is gone. I think dude is holding on way to long with the series. It's like Pierce Brosnan still playing Bond. Sean Connery came back in Never Say Never Again and it was evident his time had passed.
This is categorically wrong.

This is Tom's franchise.

It's not even a guarantee there is a successful Mission Impossible franchise after Tom leaves. They're gonna have to find another crazy special action star actor to carry it.

Brad been down for the cause awhile now.

And no but he could and should re-up with a black woman this go around.

MI: Fallout was tired from start to finish. I still want Cruise to do more however. Try again (I know he will).

Ain't no holding on with Tom, he owns it. No chance he passes the torch till he can't physically hang out a plane and ride a bike.

Yeah but the houses he built for the Katrina victims in NO are falling apart & he’s not doing anything about it... :rolleyes

Watching Deadly Class b4 I go to bed... it’s not bad... I like the cinematography. And stuntman mike stuntman mike is right, the soundtrack is bananas... Agent Orange as mentioned, Depeche Mode, Echo & The Bunnymen, Sisters of Mercy, the Descendents, Killing Joke, & Benedict Wong... Half way thru & it’s not bad..

 @ Henry Rollins up in this bisch....

He always got a pass with me.
It's like the WOLF in Teen Wolf.(not MJFOX, but the WOLF)
Automatic Black Card from day one.

In other News, came in to say that ROKU has it's own Channel now for Roku owners, and boy does it have some FIRE Content.

Man, if it could erase the N word from the vocabulary, I would. I just dont understand, how can anyone self degrade their race. You dont see whites calling each other cra**ers or spanish sp**s. I'm sorry but that's not a word of endearment.

My parents live in Rural Missouri and all types of white folks call each other cracker or honky or white trash, etc. some use it as slander, and interchangeable with “stupid”. Some use it as a term of endearment interchangeable with “buddy”

That’s the only place I’ve ever heard that before. Poverty will have you not using your best vocabulary I’ve determined

You smokin on that angel dust homes? After MI2, the series has gotten better and better each time. Newest one might be the best one yet. Tom ain’t lost a step yet. He looks like he’s 28 still. But he’s what 55? Sean Connery was 54 when NSNA came out yes? Lookin like this

As long as they keep peeps in the seats and they’re entertaining, they will and should keep making MI movies.
Not a problem, tons of movies out, some I will just never see. They aren't hurting for my money, I am good on not watching any of them. I know he owns them which is why I ain't sweating the franchise making a change. It's his baby do what you want. I will always think the movies are in the same league as the fast and the furious franchise. Call me crazy but I don't want comedy in a spy and espionage film. Don't give me realistic, realistic then we flip a car over numerous times and we are laughing and making jokes in the car. Dude takes tons of damage in the movies, crashes into stuff head first, catches up to a truck speeding away.

Now if you are saying Tom is a robot then fine that explains a lot.

Naw he don't get a pass.

I wouldn't say so simply because he's had privilege since his career started, but a pat on the back for not bragging about it is deserved. As for M:I, it can't just be passed around like James Bond, everyone is getting too old for that. Where else do you find a cast that diverse?

Anyone else watch Dirty John? Finale was on Sunday. I watched it last night, pretty wild for Bravo :wow: .

Synopsis for John Wick 3 -
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “Excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.

So, Tom Cruise has
Top Gun 2 in 2020
Mission Impossible 7 in 2021
Mission Impossible 8 in 2022

And he's already one of the biggest box office stars in history, and a 30+ year history. I don't even like Tom like that, but that's pretty damn outstanding. Not a whole ton of range in his resume, but it's certainly impressive.

So my New Years resolutions is to see more movies in the actual theatres not just the one or two marvels coming out. Which rewards members stubhub deals thingy are you guys on or would recommend? That $5 Tuesday from AMC looks nice. And I have the usual movie corporations around me so yeah

I went close to 40+ times in 2018 and Glass will be my second time of 2019. I only use Regal and Coming Attractions. I don't have an AMC anywhere near me, but the two cards I do have give me free stuff all the time. (because I go so much probably)
