Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

In for True Detective s3 2 ep premiere.

Anyone looking forward to The Passage?

Debuts tomorrow.
I'll check it out eventually but seems like another show where the network is trying too hard to make it a thing.

They're always trying to get their next epic Lost type show to blow. NBC doing it with Manifest. Same way ABC looking for their This is Us with Million Little Things

I'll probably be watching Cartel Crew for the fine Latina mamis instead.

Just started that new season of Luther. Not even mad its only 4 eps.

Alice back :hat Want to smash Ruth Wilson so badly.

Wife and I watched Solo over the weekend I don't know maybe it is just me I enjoyed it. Perhaps watch it again but I didn't think it was horrible. I liked the scumbag vibe of Han, yet was still a good guy. I personally thought he would of took the girl betraying him hard but he was like meh at the end.

However their were two parts that annoyed me, towards the end, the introduction of a certain person. It felt forced as if they were trying to tie everything together. Also the job Han was told about, the timing doesn't line up. Did he do the job before A New Hope or did he run into Obi Wan and Luke heading to that job. I would say the job preceded A New Hope but if that was the case how many jobs had he done for Joba before meeting Obi Wan and Luke.

Hollywood needs to get over the fact and stop trying to make everything interconnected when it really doesn't fit.

Damn I was hoping Martin would've got in shape for this.
Yeah man at this stage in your career you could have made the studio hire you a personal trainer. I hope he has a lot of shots driving or behind a desk, because he certainly ain't doing no scenes like this

I can kind of see the rationale he is older and a dad, meanwhile Mike is "single" unless Gabrielle is coming back or at least mentioned in the movie. You don't tend to stay in shape when you have all those other responsibilities.

True Detective worth it?

HELL YEAH it is, the first season was great, second season not as good but going in with low expectations you will be entertained. None of the seasons are connected FYI.

True Detective season 3 is off to a strong start. I like the tone of the show and Ali is great. Need to get my *** to the theater though haven't been in 2 weeks!

The job isn't about Obi-Wan or Luke, that didn't even come to pass until they walked into that bar. It's Jabba himself looking for smugglers that they are referring to.

Right I know that is the job he was referring to but just off timelines he either was working for Jobba for 18/19 years or someone's math is off.

watched the first ep of deadly class. show was alright but i enjoyed the soundtrack. Kimchi Papi Kimchi Papi you might like the music.
Aww man, it was just ok? Damn I Like Lana Condor to i was going to peep the show just bcs her. Yo, I peeped the sound track... Agent Orange?!?!?? That alone is bananas to me... I saw them once in the late 80s with a band called Surf Punks.

2!? Damn. Tom Cruise is going to be walking on the sun by the time this is done.

I thought it was cool and showed promise but need more than one ep to warm to some main characters

Sigh I can't watch this series until Tom is gone. I think dude is holding on way to long with the series. It's like Pierce Brosnan still playing Bond. Sean Connery came back in Never Say Never Again and it was evident his time had passed.

ha! those dudes were funny. my wave! go home! i saw agent orange in a small club here in hawaii. it was mayhem.

show was ok but i was watching half as background and i never read the comic. i’m def watching the next few eps.

I've only watched the first Mission: Impossible. All I remember is the vault scene (which got parodied to death) and the exploding gum on the helicopter, which was shown so many times during the ad spots.

You smokin on that angel dust homes? After MI2, the series has gotten better and better each time. Newest one might be the best one yet. Tom ain’t lost a step yet. He looks like he’s 28 still. But he’s what 55? Sean Connery was 54 when NSNA came out yes? Lookin like this

As long as they keep peeps in the seats and they’re entertaining, they will and should keep making MI movies.
