Bad.

And CP... I didn't see the first one beforehand... Apparently it's been out of production for a decade so it's impossible to find anyways... I'm up in the air as to whether or not I want to buy the BD combo when it drops and watch the first one...

And I've never seen Blade Runner...

Got the BluRay on my shelf, just haven't sat down and watched it since I bought it...

so I'm not the only one.  I have probably 50 or so DVD's/Blu Rays on my shelf that I have yet to open.

I just picked up The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly on BR for 10 bucks.  Haven't opened it yet either.  Never seen the Costner Robin Hood, got it on BR as well, haven't opened that.......
laugh.gif

I think I procrastinate sometimes.

Alright, I think I'll just give Legacy a look before the OG Tron then and take my chances.

Adjustment Bureau......Matrix 4?
nerd.gif
Even had the door closing, and then re-opening to a completely different locale.
laugh.gif

Star Wars on Blu Ray in Sept I think.  Yaaaay, my 5th @#$%^& copy of these movies since George always @#$%^ around and adds different features with each new release.  Kiss my @#$ George, you stupid @#$%^&*.  Give up the damn franchise so we can all work on making a proper 7-8-9.

One of the few good things about that movie. The others being Jeff Bridges resurrecting The Dude, Michael Sheen lookin like David Bowie's doppelganger and the IMax sound.

Studios need to leave Blade Runner alone

Maaaan I've got like 20 DVDs I haven't watched yet and I have Blade Runner, Cool Hand Luke and Requiem for a Dream on BD that I haven't seen yet...

And a queue of like 30 flicks on my Netflix that I still have to blow through.

Need to see Adjustment Bureau this weekend. One of my buddies said he saw it last night and loved it.

And yeah, I know damn well I'm gonna get suckered into Star Wars BDs... Just gonna spring the 90 bucks or whatever and tell myself it'll be the last set.

I wrote a really long post until I realized I wasn't in general and that what I wrote had to be sports related
laugh.gif

Oh my god fail.

But off the top of my head - Remember the Titans, The Replacements, The Sixth Man are movies that come to mind. The very funny thing is that I am not a football fan at all. I don't watch any NFL except for the Superbowl; it's just funny that two of my favorite sports movies involve football.
laugh.gif

I think part of it is that I cringe when I watch actors/actresses pretend to be good at basketball. When I watch the football movies since I know nothing about football, I can't tell if they are playing the part convincingly
laugh.gif
so it's easier to suspend disbelief and I can just focus on the story.

Has anyone ever felt this way.

I have an allen iverson biography, a kobe bryant biography (yes I once was a kobe fan) and a dwayne johnson autobiography they were all ok reads. Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe is a sports training book I'm reading right now, I like it.

Hang Time was my sports tv show. Favorite episode was when Kobe swooped in and helped the guys beat the people hustling them in pickup.

Here, lemme show you:

That was when Kobe was cool and chill but then he became a douche. Smh.

*edit* I'm reading through thread now.  Why are people listing non sports related movies?

Many of what's listed involve sports indirectly. Like the movie Airplane with Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

If you're looking for a good James Franco movie to
pimp.gif
and watch, I suggest checking out Good Time Max.

So, watched the new Crowe, The Next Three Days.........I have a complaint.  I'm totally cool with the breaking someone out of prison.  I'm right there with ya that a college teached dude can get a handgun and break into a meth lab and steal money no problem.  Suspension of disbelief.  Got it.  But I'm sorry, @#$% you tryna tell me that a married dude wouldn't trade in his 40 year old wife IN PRISON for Olivia Wilde who hungers for his nuts.

Kiss my @#$ you stupid writer, that @#$% was pissing me off the whole movie.

We need a little confession in here, I just read that KLJ just saw Good Will Hunting for the first time last week.
eek.gif
I wanted to yell at him, and then I remembered that I just saw Forrest Gump for the first time last night.
embarassed.gif
Him being a kick returned for Bear Bryant was awesome.
laugh.gif
And that Carlton Fisk scene in Good Will was classic.
The scene where Robin Williams sits Will by the lake and tells him that he's a scared little boy.

  Great speech.

Lock/Stock/Smoking Barrels, good as well.  Vinnie was great.

Picked up Killing Zoe for this week, need to get on that.

Due Date was a watch one time, never ever again flick, very eh outside of Downey Jr who is always great.

The move previews I see of Sucker Punch, the more I wanna see it.   Looks like a mind trip, but the visuals look great, and Snyder has done great work with everything he's touched.

Just watched a film called 'Live Flesh' (1997), on MGMHD.  Javier Bardem has a principle role in the film, I highly recommend it.  Film is centered around sports.

"Madrid, Christmas time 1970: As the nation is held under a state of emergency ordered by the Franco regime, a young prostitute Isabel Plaza Caballero (PenÃ[emoji]169[/emoji]lope Cruz) gives birth in a bus to a son she names Victor."

Finally sat down and watched the Reggie Miller 30 for 30...
eek.gif
Awesome. Really, really awesome.

Saw Rango this weekend... Not bad. Definitely not a kid's flick either.
laugh.gif

Did everybody else see the rumored plot for Dark Knight? I'm intrigued.

i think the social network might have been the best movie of the year to be honest. but i haven't finished the king's speech. there was practically no action throughout the movie. just great dialogue. i wasn't bored for a second
