Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Watching JFK right now and while being far from the biggest Kevin Costner fan, his run from ‘87 to ‘92 is pretty impressive.

87 - The Untouchables
88 - Bull Durham
89 - Field of Dreams
90 - Dances with Wolves
91 - Robin Hood & JFK
92 - The Bodyguard

I don’t even like all of these movies but for 6 straight years he was either in a highly acclaimed film or a box office smash.
Waterworld

 @ John Wilson trying to film one of his "normal" eps during the beginning of the shut down.

Oh what a ***** it was trying to casually buy groceries or from any kind of store.

All Is Lost (2013) 7.2/8

Robert Redford's performance in this was unbelievable. Can't believe I never heard of this movie. If you like Cast Away or movies where someone is stranded and has to fight to survive then you'll like this.

It's playing again Sunday on Cinemax which I think is free and available to everyone for Thanksgiving weekend if you have cable. I have DirecTV and cinemax is free till Monday. Record it if you have the chance. Great movie.

Enjoyed this as well but Louie made me laugh with this

Samual Monroe Jr.

Tales From the Hood
He even had an episode on Smart Guy

Got any other actors like this?

No name actors that you recognize from other roles.

Doing another rewatch of The Office, S3 is unstoppable. Jan and Michael's relationship is pure jokes. Starts falling off at S5, Jim being manager for no reason is ****ing annoying.
That’s my #1 pick

Old vid but I like how he just randomly hit you with some truth behind a funny story, like the Fresh Prince. "If I did it, i'm black, so Morpheus wouldn't have been black".

I’m just about done with my second time watching The Office in it’s entirely. There is some good stuff in the post-Michael years, but the show overall is much less consistent. There’s a higher rate of jokes/story lines that don’t work that well.

That said, my appreciation for Robert California has grown the second time through. He’s consistently funny and Spader does a fantastic job.

Spader was great. The Andy/Erin stuff wasn't written well (think they were trying to force a goofy Jim and Pam thing) and speaking of which I was totally over Jim and Pam by the time they got married

This dude used to get recycled a lot as a mob dude in small roles or as an extra. Frank Sivero.

Leave No Trace. Interesting movie and take on PTSD and homeless vets. Two leads were great. Kudos to the little girl. Really nailed her performance. Definitely recommend. Nothing sexy about it, no bad guys, shootouts, etc but the relationship between Ben Foster and his daughter and their interactions with "normalcy" was worth it.

Also doing a rewatch before it leaves Netflix at the end of the year. Show is absolute trash when Michael leaves and Andy becomes manager. :{
