I just read the description on google/imdb. It sounds pretty cool. Maybe it was a cool concept, just executed poorly?
Watched The Killing of a Sacred Deer last night. What the hell did I just watch?!!! I’m not usually the type to say this…..but I hated it. Thought it was pretentious and wildly overrated. Friends told me this was a hidden gem/hilariously dark/A24 quality/like The Lobster. WRONG. Just left me upset at film in general.

This happens with movies I saw once with friends in hs or college where I was drunk or high, and either my experience changed the second time around because of having a different lens on it, or my experience changed because I realize how much of a plot slips away after so much time has passed. Not exactly a prognosis of a depleting memory overallI’m pretty sure your Boy is losing it.
I refuse to believe I’m losing my memory, so….
There’s only one explanation, alternate dimensions.
DECIDED to do a rewatch on HANGOVER III.
Opening scene where Chow escapes, yea I don’t remember that….
Next scene where Alan’s father dies, yea not familiar.
Next scene Alan singing at his Fathers funeral, yea….I’ve never seen this Film.
……but I have.
TF is going on.
This is way too many FILMS I’m watching, that I thought I’d seen, and never watched a second of them….
I did stop drinking a few years back. This happens with movies I saw once with friends in hs or college where I was drunk or high, and either my experience changed the second time around because of having a different lens on it, or my experience changed because I realize how much of a plot slips away after so much time has passed. The ending still pisses me off
Yeah that part is dope for sure from the aspect of the film.I LOVE the ending. The philosophical debate.
Right vs "wrong"
Child with biological mother
Child in a loving home
That is a terrible thing to decide for someone. I loved the openendeness of it.
HECTOR!
When you already know a film verbatim but you still might buy this because you have a weakness for making unnecessary purchases...

I just meant the literal end when the "babysitting" request happens
They successfully executed the point you made which made me mad for that girl
7.5/8. Must watch.Man, I could have swore I already knocked Gone Baby Gone out, but seeing all these clips and not recognizing them, I think I missed this one.
What kind of scores would you guys give?
