Anyone watching The SAG awards on TNT? Great seeing a giant collection of Hollywood people again compacted all in one place, I remember this.
I always felt like the SAGs were the most pretentious of the awards season. Flipped to it anyways.

So my friend was wondering if he'd be able to post in the thread if he'd never seen Lebowski. Would he? Again, asking for my friend.

For sure. I think the Coen Bros comedy is an acquired taste so it just might not be for you if you've seen some of their others. But for the quotes alone it's great.

I’d say naw. Watch first, then you gain access to the thread.
Man, they're gonna be disappointed. 👀

Damn with everything else pushed back i forgot the SAG awards were tonight.

Why?

I actually liked the idea of the actors opinions deciding who was the best at what the past year.

In many ways, I kinda rank it over the Oscars cuz its their fellow peers awarding each other.

It is pretentious in that it is just famous ppl rewarding other famous ppl pretending that its more profound than the rest but it cant be helped.

Took my son to see Dog over the weekend and yea this movie couldn't decide if it wanted to be a feel good flick with Channing and the dog, a serious drama or a comedy. It was all over the place and really dragged at times. Main reason I watched was that it was raining at home and my son really likes dogs so thought this could be worth staying inside and grabbing some popcorn at least. I did enjoy Kevin Nash's small part and barely recognized Ethan Suplee as I don't think I'd seen him in a movie after his major weight loss, good to see him looking so healthy though. Overall I'd give it a 4.5/8

anybody can reccommend me some new shows as funny like righteous gemstones?
