It's John Woo era. Not long after Face Off, and, well.....the jokes could write themselves there.
Hopkins has my favorite line.

I just watched it last week and it was fine, imo. But of the 6 films, if there has to be a "worst" I'm fine with choosing that one. But it being the worst is better than most franchises worst films, speaks highly of the franchise, if that makes sense.
It had big implications however. Want one? This movie went long, causing Dougray Scott to drop out of his next film. Some role called, Wolverine, that went to Hugh Jackman instead.
More? Metallica wrote the theme for the movie. It's leaking online, led to their suit over Napster.
And more importantly, the og edit was 3.5 hours long. Woo went a lil too far. So Cruise took over the edit and it explains some of the gaps in the story a lil bit.
We've already established that my taste in movies is pretty bad but I loved MI2 when it came out. The Limp Bizkit ywist on the theme was amazing and long hair Tom Cruise using karate moves was awesome.

**** man, I was just going to post the trailer and keeps it moving but, the trailer is F’ing awful. Awful premise on the surface and even after 1-2 episodes but not long after those episodes do I settle in and watch. If not for the score and camera work this SERIES wouldn’t be what it is. A 12-15month old baby steals the Screen Time in every scene he appears to though he cannot speak a word.
