. I love M's best but the worst of his works trumps his best for me. freakin "Lady in the Water" was like a student film maker made the film in his backyard.

I was so hyped for The Village in 2004 man. What a let down. For having such a terrible ending it's still an OKAY watch. Lots of talent, great acting/directing, then BAM

well, with "THE VILLAGE", this stood out for me from the very first time I had watch it. I'm not sure if I would rip her clothes off after hearing that confession or run as fast as I could away from her after hearing that.

I absolutely loved the village and still think it gets a bad rap. I forget, someone in here mentioned that It’s connected to other movies in his universe? Split/Unbreakable/ Glass?

Maybe the land conservation place in the ending is the place that Split dude was hiding his victims or something like that?

Anyways I have no qualms with shamalayayans films until Lady in the Water.

this was great when it first came out. probably the last time that MJF acted decently before he got worse with his disease. could have been better but everything about it was great.

But Kate Mara makes it semi interesting.

Not sure I like Spacey breaking 4th walls. Or Kate's.

It's not worth it. I stopped after the 2nd season and never thought about it again.
