Yeah, we watched that last night and it was pretty good. My wife immediately said that he's way too famous to be killed off in the first few minutes and she was obviously right.
Hey how tf did you do that?

Loved both seasons of The Night Agent so far. It's a variant 24, but nothin wrong with that.

The amount of government secrets I would give up for Rose. :{

I'd be SINGINGGGGGGGG

Mt. Rushmore (no particular order, but numbering for format purposes)

1) Rosemary's Baby

Score, story, acting, set pieces, all 8/8. Objectively a perfect movie. Not only do I notice something new every time I watch, but I've realized that no action or thing is pointless in this movie (I can't really go into example without spoiling).

Might be why I roll my eyes* when "easter eggs" are brought up as some sort of amazing moment in current film. There IS a way to make things matter without random input.

*Also why you see me silent/not commenting on new horror movies that the internet raves about  but I digress...

2) Friday

Arguably the GOAT comedy of the modern era. I haven't seen it in probably 20 years, but pretty much all of the dialogue is embedded in my brain. And others. You can say a random line from the movie, not necessarily a joke/funny line, and anyone who is old enough will recognize it and laugh. Cultural touchstone

3) Scarface

Dare I say underrated, once it became the cool thing on the internet to hate on it. Saw it again in theaters last year and every one of the moments landed perfectly; whether it was action, humorous, or tense.

4) Stalker *FREE ON YOUTUBE

Beautifully shot and incredibly thought provoking. Takes a science fiction novel and expands it to something more. Came out almost 50 years ago and puts pretty much everything since to shame.

This is not some movie full of confusing events for the viewer to "get"/understand. You know exactly what happens and the interpretation is up to you - probably my favorite movie to discuss other than Rosemary's Baby.

I got 1 movie in my Mount Rushmore that I’ll never take off. The rest of my picks are also in my top 4 but they could change. So I got 1 Rushmore, and like 100 honorable mention top 4’s I refuse to leave off :lol

1,2,3, or 4 : O Brother Where Art Thou?

the rest of my top 4:

Matrix, Top Gun, T2, CASABLANCA, On the Waterfront, Se7en, Indian Jones raiders/last crusade, Forest Gump, Fight Club, Mad Max Fury Road, Memento, The Dark Knight, Big Lebowski, Spirited Away, Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Basterds, Big Fish, Sleepy Hollow, Gattaca, Stand By Me, Fifth Element, Saving Private Ryan, Felloship of the Ring, Shape of Water, Moonrise Kingdom, He got Game, Jaws, Gladiator, Training Day, the Prestige, Sicario, LaLa Land, Darjeeling Limited, Empire Strikes Back, Point Break, Heat, Goodfellas, No Country for Old Men, There Will be Blood, Braveheart, Alien, Aliens, Rush Hour, BTTF 1 and 2 etc etc

That’s off top, but yeah I refuse to part ways with any of these if you put a gun to my head.

“Well, he’s not faking. Not that one. I’ll talk to the judge and see if I can get him moved to the secure wing at Arkham. I can’t treat him here.”

I’ve had good luck watching indie quirky, dark comedies with my son. So we’re doing Garden State tonight. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it - holding up so far.
“Yea, the ellipsis. It’s dumb. It’s dumb. It’s an awful idea. I’m not gonna do it, okay? ‘Cause, like you said, this is it. This is life. And I’m in love with you Samantha. I think that’s the only thing I’ve ever been really sure of in my entire life.”

“And I’m really messed up right now, and I got a whole lot of stuff I gotta work out, but…I don’t want to waste any more of my life without you in it. Okay?”

“Yeah”

“And I think I can do this. I mean, I want to. We have to, right?”

“Yeah!”

“Right?”

Looks like I've got it in MAX.

I'm going to try to knock both out next Saturday, but I'll definitely hit one and report back.

Yeah. Stalker is nearly 3 hours and requires subtitles though. Just an FYI
I will not be knocking both out next Saturday. 🤣
I'm going to play it by ear and see what happens Thursday/Friday going into Saturday for me.
If I have a large chunk of time, Stalker it is.
Just a couple hours? Rosemary's Baby.

I absolutely hate the countdown to your trailer starting trend that came up recently ish. It seems like it’s going away though.

Stalker is the perfect trifecta for me. One of my fav movies based on my fav book of all time (Roadside Picnic) which spawned a video game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. which as you guessed, is one of my favs.
