second half of the movie is totally unconvincing.
I’ve found this post to be persuasive and intellectually stimulating

Eisenberg’s been wearing a button-up shirt like this for the entire movie and it’s been bothering me

Just one buttoned at the top :lol

It's honestly making me turn on the current market.
So Interstellar was a banger. Super popular Nolan film.
When's Inter2tellar?
And then Int3rstellar?
Interstell4r?
And then an alternate timeline element. 🔥

I've been trying to dip into old movies that I never paid any mind to, and this is a major reason why.
There is no Casablanca 2, or It's Still A Wonderful Life.
Bigger Fish, with Ewan McGregor telling big fish stories to his kiddo? It never happened, and I love that.
Tell the story and move on.

A new freaking Now You See Me? Italian Job?
JFC. 🫠

If you want a really wild ride, Barbed Wire with Pam Anderson was a futuristic adaptation of Casablanca, even down to the final scene. Also, there was a sequel to "The Italian Job" planned, "The Brazilian Job", but it never got off the ground. Still bummed about that one because that movie rocks.

Watching Terminator: Dark Fate which I hadn't heard of before. Arnie has just turned up and it's pretty enjoyable so far - seems better than those other ones that came after the first 2.

I had never heard of this either.
It's the 6th Terminator?
There are 6?!
😂🤦🏻‍♂️

When does Better Woman come out?
Another Better Man?
Worst Man?

I still haven’t seen any past TI2, but yeah that Emilia Clarke one during mid-GOTs, and then the Linda Hamilton/Mackenzie Davis one from five years ago… just seemed weird.

I’ve seen the 1st 3 Terminator films. I love the OG and T2 is absolutely a classic film, IMO.

I honestly don’t remember anything about T3 other than I know I saw it (in the theater, I think). The drop off was significant  :frown:

This is the first time I’ve heard of it. Thought it was an animated film at first. I’ve only seen 1,2, and the Christian Bale one

I was kind of interested in Dark Fate when I heard Linda Hamilton was back, but then it came out and I totally forgot about it. Whoops. 🤷‍♂️

Every year, I've seen less and less of all the nominees.
I think I've seen 2 movies on the nominations list this year.

Back In Action is not bad, actually fun. Predictable, you know who the bad guy is immediately, but fun. Some bad cgi at times, like there's a shot of them in water and you can clearly tell they're not in water. Jamie and Cameron have good chemistry.

If anything, for the obvious sequel setup they should try and make a good movie.

Yeah, we watched that last night and it was pretty good. My wife immediately said that he's way too famous to be killed off in the first few minutes and she was obviously right.

Yeah as soon as
they said he taught them, you knew. It's the mentor gone rogue trope.
