Never seen the first 2 (always wanted to, just haven't gotten around to it; I really want to see Goodfellas, actually), never heard of the 3rd.

I hate to bring The Adjustment Bureau up yet again, but I was just going over it in my head, and it really could have been great. It just didn't have enough conviction in its principle. There was an awesome, potentially highly controversial movie in there.

Edit: Ebert sums up exactly how I feel: "... a smart and good movie that could have been a great one if it had beena little more daring. I suspect the filmmakers were reluctant to followits implications too far."

P.S. We went through five pages in the past 12 hours.

I'm really not.

It's really every couple years a movie comes out that I know I'm going to like beforehand, I hear is really good after release, and I really liked it after seeing it.

I'm not exaggerating when I say 'every couple years.'

That actually might even be a conservative estimate.

Last one was 3:10 to Yuma, I think.

That's the problem with Hollywood these days, they're too concerned with making money than to put something out that's gonna really piss people off, but be unbelievably awesome.  Still wanna see it, though, since it's an intriguing concept.

Did anyone ever see moon, staring Sam Rockwell? I think that's a really good sci fi flick that flew under the radar. Came out in 2009
I've had it on my external for dumb long, but never watched it. One of my boys did, however, and he said it was really awesome. I remember it getting a lot of hype on At The Movies, too, when it first came out.

Not even hearing of heat is pretty funny. I mean you would think it would come up in a conversation. I think it's slightly overrated but the bank scene is the best robbery scene ever filmed im. The beggining of the dark knight reminded me of it actually. I need to give it another watch.

There will be blood > No country for old men. watched it 3 times in a month and a half.

KLJ, That's disappointing about the adjustment Bureau. When I saw the trailor I thought it looked very promising. Not one movie head has mentioned it to me since it came out so i figured it didn't live up to it's potential. When it wasn't rated R I had a bad feeling.
